            Hi everyone,
I am in need of some advice, after reading all the successes i have decided to have a go myself.
I am just sorting through old letters and statements but unsure what to do, I have downloaded the 1st letter asking for agreement and terms and conditions but some of the original companies i had loans or credit cards with have merged ie abbey who is now mbna; so do i send the paper work to the address i have for abbey or to mbna this account is still running.
also if it has been passed to a different company who do i send it to the original one or the company who now has the debt now.
last question is there any difference when claiming ppi if it is a loan or credit card or car insurance etc
 thank you in advance
Send all paperwork to whoever the company is that you are now dealing with, good luck, if you need any help you know where we are0

I earn commission only and my hours of work fluctate every week bet if I tried to put in an unemoyment claim they would not pay out. Was your successful claim with lloyds on self employment only ?
yes it was purely being self employed on the first one,i think thats why the bank are so windy about the credit cards as i was self employed there also.0

I have had a loan, and a credit card. And applied for them either by phone or online for one of my credit cards. The issue I have is that I cannot remember from a phone call a few years back (or even last year) whether I was mis-sold PPI........??0

I would say ask the bank, although they are not to be trusted, i don't think at the moment if they ever were trustworthy they are now.0

Hi cappo thanks so much for your help getting so confused as to whether self employment is covered by ppi obviously it is not claims have gone in to lloyds and m&s should be a large amount from lloyds so probably have a long wait and fight on my hands is it any quicker using a cmc ?0

I would'nt personally andy i used a cmc 3 years ago to start some claims for me,there not very quick, they don't generally keep you up to speed (although saying that there are some good ones out there) the simplest best way is to do it yourself, you do have to be a bit tenacious as i've found, but it isn't hard, you have all the help you need on here and you need copious amounts of patience other than that it's not hard at all, give it a go yourself.0
