    Hi
Rang LLoyds tsb today ,put in a claim 13th may, received letter few weeks ago stating, saying will now take further 8 weeks due to volume of work.
Anyhow asked how my claim is geting on ,and the guy was very vague, said they now have all the info,"no complaints received" dont know what this meant, but i should be hearing in the next couple of weeks, definatley within the next four weeks, have had my credit card for about11 years, and i cancelled the insurance 18 months ago,as i was not aware that at the time,i certainly did not ask for insurance as i have a chronic illness for the last 30 years, and cannot get insurance, and also self employed for 16 years, not only that this credit card was sent through the post to me,and i certainly did not want insurance, but thought it was just compulsory as it had a 15000 pound credit limit.
I have told them i want my money bank,as this was mis-sold,but lloyds will not give any info on the phone, the only thing he did say was,"if you do not agree, you can take to ombudsman, but we prefer you not to do that,as it is too expensive and more money for the bank to pay out"
Does this sound as tho i make get my payments for insurance refunded,
its been 13 weeks now,i would have thought if it had been no they would have responded quite quickly,Santander did.

    Trish

Hi trish i 100% agree with Di,sounds like an uphold!

Emailed M & S at the weekend regarding the claim they upheld in one letter then said in the next they couldn't find any info that PPI was added.
M&S rang me twice this afternoon. When I returned their call the person who had left the message was busy and they offered to call me back after I finished work, Sure enough they called me and went through everything. They said it was to do with a claim number that had been added for the linked loans and the writer hadn't realized it was under a different reference nos. She said my loan PPI would definitely be refunded so not to worry. Phew!
    Phew indeed! :D:D:D

hoping for some help here, after getting my refund from halifax :T, my partner piped up that he thinks he pays payment care on his santander mortgage (he got it when they were abbey), after delving deeper into all the paperwork it appears he pays £19.23 a month to santander paymentcare insurance which looks to be something to do with aviva, he has paid this since 1994. they sent a letter to say after increasing his payment in july 2009 they were refunding him the increase due to fsa guidelines, and gave him £54.30 back. when taking the policy my partner was and still is self employed and he also said to me when talking to him that he did not realise that he did not have to have this policy as they also gave him a pension policy attached to the mortgage, from reading up am i right in thinking that as he was self employed this policy should not have been sold to him, sorry if we are a bit slow between us, but as the policy is not called ppi and paymentcare insurance we were not sure if it was the same thing, i think it is, any help much appreciated.

    Hello
I need some advice please, if anyone can help me.

I had a yorkshire bank credit card, i am currently trying to reclaim the PPI charged on this account. I sent the MSE first letter (copied from this site) asking for all details they have on this account, all they sent me was the statements which i already had.
Next step i took was to send them a copy of the letter (from this site) asking them to send me a copy of the terms and condtitions of this account enclosing a cheque for £1 which the article on here sugests. That was about 6 weeks ago and have had no response.

Shall i just fill in the reclaiming form and send it to them?
I cannot remember signing for PPI,I do not remember any phone calls or any time when they discussed PPI with me, it just started appearing on my statements (after the debt reached £7000) around a year before i remortgaged and paid the debt off in full.
At that time i was self employed (yorkshire bank knew this as i have my business account with them)
Thankyou very much to anyone who can spare the time to give me some advice on this.

hi if you have the proof you were paying it on your statements and you have the right reasons to put a misold claim in which sounds as if you have i'd put a claim in it sounds like you have given yorkshire bank every chance to sort this out

Hi, I believe this maybe one for Dunstonh, as all these different insurances can be confusing and I note you said it's attached to the mortgage?

Below is a separate new thread, still within these reclaiming threads, but hopefully this will not be missed and Dunstonh should be able to answer on this one, good luck with this and remember to give a title as well, such as "Mortgage/Payment Care help".
