    Hello
I need some advice please, if anyone can help me.

I had a yorkshire bank credit card, i am currently trying to reclaim the PPI charged on this account. I sent the MSE first letter (copied from this site) asking for all details they have on this account, all they sent me was the statements which i already had.
Next step i took was to send them a copy of the letter (from this site) asking them to send me a copy of the terms and condtitions of this account enclosing a cheque for £1 which the article on here sugests. That was about 6 weeks ago and have had no response.

Shall i just fill in the reclaiming form and send it to them?
I cannot remember signing for PPI,I do not remember any phone calls or any time when they discussed PPI with me, it just started appearing on my statements (after the debt reached £7000) around a year before i remortgaged and paid the debt off in full.
At that time i was self employed (yorkshire bank knew this as i have my business account with them)
Thankyou very much to anyone who can spare the time to give me sone advice on this.

    Hi there

    As Cappo says above.

You can contact the bank for more details and they should be able to disclose any details of PPI.

If you have the account number you can therefore continue to make a reclaim without the need of the paperwork as such, and complete the step 3 reclaim questionnaire below, send to their head office or complaints section, and keep a copy for yourself as well, allow 8 weeks, they may write to ask for more time if needed, good luck.;)

Hi, I believe this maybe one for Dunstonh, as all these different insurances can be confusing and I note you said it's attached to the mortgage?

Below is a separate new thread, still within these reclaiming threads, but hopefully this will not be missed and Dunstonh should be able to answer on this one, good luck with this and remember to give a title as well, such as "Mortgage/Payment Care help".

He is able to cancel the payment care if he wanted, i just spoke to aviva, but he has to have the pension alongside the mortgage, hopefully someone may know more, not that you dont know plenty, lol, :D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi i am in the process of filling in the questionaires(which i downloaded from the site) however, my cred cards were closed around 2005/6 and just realised after reading through the site, that you can only claim for the last 6 years for missold ppi, a couple of my cards i had for around 12 years,, i still have a few statments dated 2005 and was still paying for ppi, up to them being paid off, could you please advise if it is worthwhile going ahead with the claims, many thanks..

    Hello there

Do not worry about the timescale, many of us have still been successful in making a reclaim even from the 90's and if you still have the account number and the related paperwork prior to the 6 years you should be fine, just make them aware as well that you've only just became aware of the mis selling.

    Good luck.:);)

I just called Lloydstsb to chase mine, was told that they are currently working on November 2010 claims and as mine was Feb 2011 they cant give me a date yet, but "should" be by the end of August..

    Sigh!

    Hi

Just wanted to say that Lloyds are liars.

How can they be working through November 2010 claims, when my October 2010 claim has still not been sorted.

I chase them up through emailing customer care and CEO and get made to feel like I shouldn't be asking about my money!!!! :(

Sorry been a bad day and then you read that people only waiting 4months have had their claims sorted and I'm coming up to 10months.
    Very frustrating.

But well done to all who have got their money back.
