Following my email to Clydesdale Bank last week, got a reply to say there had been a letter dated 12th July, well we received that letter today just to tell us they had been unable to conclude their investigation and it would take up to another four weeks, I can of course go to FOS if we wish, of course we'll wait just now, however, it is a shame that these banks can't get their houses in order Clydesdale weren't even involved with the JR and haven't had an extension, but as many have said, why go to FOS when it'll take 18 months, unless of course they come back to say no.

I had a letter like that too, asking for more time once the 8 weeks was up. So thought to myself i'll give them the 16 weeks all the other banks are being granted and about to weeks later an upheld letter, so may be good news if a little longer than hoped! :D (mine was with egg).

Cheers Marksman, much appreciated, I'll be waiting that bit longer too and in fairness will probably allow up to the 16 weeks, although I'll wait for 12 weeks and if nothing still I'll start hounding the new CEO and see if this brings anything to fruition. Cheers again.

    Hiya

Yes I believe that is correct.

There are details also directly on Santander site, where you can also follow.....

    http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/ContentServer?appID=abbey.internet.Abbeycom&c=Page&canal=CABBEYCOM&cid=1210607166846&empr=Abbeycom&leng=en_GB&pagename=Abbeycom%2FPage%2FWC_ACOM_TemplateA2

Also the email address on the above link.

Or follow the details below, step 3 to the reclaim questionnaire, good luck.

Please let us know how you get on as myself and a few others on here have had no joy with store card claims from Santander. Mine is at the FLA and if and when it is rejected (which seems more than likely according to others who've had no joy with the FLA) it will be going to the FOS to pursue the underwriters who have already rejected it.
    Good Luck!
