I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere but I'm in work this morning and don't have time to trawl through all the posts, does anyone have an email address for the ceo of Santander. I'm going to fire him off an email telling him how discusted I am at his firms decision not to refund my PPI on my Dorothy Perkins card, and how his team have sent me a reply in writing stating that there was no premiums paid from Sep 1998, clearly contradicting the statements I have which clearly show PPI being paid until at least 2000 maybe longer (can't find any more statements!).
I am really going to be like a dog with a bone with this one!"!

have just sent the email, fingers and toes crossed!! told him (i assume it's a him) that i will have no hesitation taking his company to the small claims court such is my confidence that I was misold (will die if he says go right ahead lol), also told him as a long standing customer I am very disappointed that I have been lied to, and asking him to personally take a look at it! I wonder will I even get a reply??

Sounds like you've a good reason or two for a claim, if you were late with a payment it should'nt make to much difference,id see what the other guys on here think as well but i would put a claim in,it sounds as if the ppi rebate was not proportionate,i know banks do this as they've done it to me. And you should'nt have been told that the ppi was essential to get the loan although many were

    Hi EJ

The reclaim questionnaire is on step 3 below, complete and send to the head office or complaints via Barclays (they may also have these details on their website as well), remember to keep a copy as well, and allow 8 weeks for a decision, they will let you know if they require more time.

    Good luck.

I find it strange no one has had anything from Barclays yet.

I have put in for my PPI refund at Barclays end of June.

I also cancelled my PPI and have just got a letter - from what I can see I am going to have an extra 885.00 added to my loan! The monthly repayments will be a few pounds less but my loan has been extended.

I have to pay for the privelledge of cancelling something I shouldn't of had in the first place! Just want to check does anyone know if I do cancel this if it will effect my chance of getting a PPI refund?

    Hi lauzflow,
No it shouldn't be another fob off, there is a story on the website about the extension some of the main banks have been given to deal with complaints about ppi, it also follows a timeline of when your complaint was submitted, those that were told their claim was on hold because of the judicial review are being dealt with first, then from the date of the JR to another date will be dealt with within I think 16 weeks(double the normal) and anything received after a certain date will have to be dealt with by another deadline before going back to normal.
However, just to keep things in perspective, if you complain to the FOS you may be waiting anything up to 18 months, they've had tens of thousands of complaints that they have to weed through.
Fingers crossed for good news in August, and remember, more time, more interest.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
