    Hi everyone

Just update, started my claims at the beginning of May five with Lloyds and one with Barclays.

I had the standard letters back a week later saying that they were looking into my claims and it will take eight weeks

Barclays sent me a letter yesterday saying that they will write me again on the 21th July regarding my claim, had another letter today from Barclays for the same ref number saying that they will be writing to me again on the 15th September LOL :D

Might go and buy myself a 10,000 piece jigzaw whilst i am waiting :rotfl::rotfl:

Waiting for the eight weeks on Lioyds and then i will be chasing them up,anyone heard anything from Lloyds lately they seem to have gone a bit quiet.

Thank you to everyone who has givening me advice on here especially Di your a star :A

Just hang on in there everyone ;) our time will come :)
Good luck odd socks :A sorry :o:o:o as Di says old socks :rotfl:
  • Hi all I am an avid follower - was wondering if at all possible if someone may be able to offer me such much needed guidance. Thanks to Martin and the fourm I have been instilled with the confidence to seek to reclaim my PPI from Bank of Scotland. This has however been an uphill struggle as my complaint was registered with them since Sept 2010 after being ignored by the banks I forwarded it to the financial ombudsman, both now say that they are working through the back log and will be in touch in due course. I have emailed the CEO and recieved another letter saying basically that these things take time -?? But how much time? I am quite anxious to get a result soon as I was actively cooerced into taking a product that I did not need and now feel that there should be some redress. I have been accepted to do a postgraduate course at university and this money may mean the difference from being able to attend or not! Is anyone one else dealing with the BOS and if so what stage and with what result? Many thanks x

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has had success with Intelligent Finance?

I sent the claim form in at the end of May and have received an acknowledgement letter and today a letter saying about delays and I will hear within 16 weeks of the date of complaint

This is all fine by me, but I've not seen any success or failure stories about IF, is this because they are now known as Halifax?

No bad news is good news as they say!

    Hi All,
New to this thread. I first registered my complaint about Lloyds PPI in July 2008. I am still waiting. It seems that in April 2010 an adjudicator wrote to LLoyds saying they were upholding my claim. No response from them, so it had to go to the ombudsman but I'm still waiting. I get a letter from time to time saying they are very busy and that's it. I really need that money. my health not very good and I'm broke so it would be a huge weight off my mind to get it settled. My claim is for £2324.oo not including interest and the adjudicator recommende that Lloyds pay me an extra £200.00 compensation for stress and inconveneince! Ha! Ha1

never give up dreaming, as they may come true:D:D;)

hopefully with their latest statements regarding Ppi you should be
surprised!:D and the tank of optimism returned to full :D

dont let them extinguish you:eek: im sure you'll be missed lol ;)

    all the best of luck:D

    True...they could still surprise me..:D

Will keep fighting...but sometimes I think it would be easier to believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy, before anything our banks have to say!:rotfl::rotfl:

Barclays wouldn't respond to my letter at first,i had to phone them a few times, the last time i phoned them they gave me a ref number over the phone for my claim and then they sent me a FOS questionnaire because they said they didn't receive my original form but i know that they did receive it

I think Barclays don't know their knee from their elbow if you know what i mean ;)

    Keep chasing them up

Thank you :) i will keep my fingers crossed for you to,good luck and hang on in there ;)

Thanks, will follow up with phone calls...and agree , with regards to the knee and elbow thing!:rotfl::rotfl:

Keep us posted as to how you get on..:D very naughty of them to say they didn't get the form! How unusual, banks not being truthful? Whatever next??
  • Yeah would mean having to take out another loan to fund it, if my PPI claim is successful then this would cover a substantial amount of it and save me from having to get into more debt!! Many thanks for your reply, guess that is my problem you hear of ppl getting answers and results so quickly where I kinda feel like am just hanging from a thread - but will hold tight and see what happens x
