Hi Cappo, sorry if I have missed this info, but, how long ago was the loan you had forgotten about? I am surprised that the bank is actively finding old accounts, ( although I know they are supposed to)..that's brilliant news for you and Mandy....

Hi everyone

Just update,started my claims at the beginning of May five with Lloyds and one with Barclays.

I had the standard letters back a week later saying that they were looking into my claims and it will take eight weeks

Barclays sent me a letter yesterday saying that they will write me again on the 21th July regarding my claim,had another letter today from Barclays for the same ref number saying that they will be writing to me again on the 15th September LOL

Might go and buy myself a 10,000 piece jigzaw whilst i am waiting :rotfl::rotfl:

Waiting for the eight weeks on Lioyds and then i will be chasing them up,anyone heard anything from Lloyds lately they seem to have gone a bit quiet.

Barclays have not been very quick with me...I wrote on 20th April, asking for T & Cs..to date nothing!...So now am going to send in FOS questionnaire!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you...:)

Thanks, Marksman...I bank with Barclays, and all I can say is, they tend to extinguish my natural optimism, :rotfl:

Not the best, but hopefully their recent moves will change that?? ( Or again, I might be dreaming...!):D:D

hopefully with their latest statements regarding Ppi you should be
surprised!:D and the tank of optimism returned to full

dont let them extinguish you:eek: im sure you'll be missed lol

Barclays wouldn't respond to my letter at first,i had to phone them a few times,the last time i phoned them they gave me a ref number over the phone for my claim and then they sent me a FOS questionnaire because they said they didn't receive my original form but i know that they did receive it

I think Barclays don't know their knee from their elbow if you know what i mean

Keep chasing them up
