hey guys ive had another reply today from barcalys saying my complaint is still being investigated and they will get in touch when they can its been 2 months now so i thought they could give me a lil bit of info !.. this time they havent given me any time scale :( i phoned and they said the same . few days late of just gettin in the april 21st mark :( really gutted bout that . they enclosed some forms in about taking it to the ombudsman ? shall i just wait for a reply or take it further ? any ideas would be much appreciated cus im not good wiv things like this ... thx in advance x x

    Hiya

They are on a timescale of extra time given by the FSA, and must deal with it by then. I can understand how frustrating it must be, but understand lots are in the same position and still waiting months on, but hopefully you will hear something very soon with a good outcome.
    Fingers crossed.;)

In our opinion, Cappo thinks the same as myself here:D we think if rejected then it would have been done so by now, so its possible yours is in the pile that have been investigated for a refund, but in date of order if that makes sense, with a bit of luck this will be the case.;)

    Good luck they hey?;)

Basically you get back all you paid of the PPI, interest you paid on the policy, also 8% from settlement date to now etc........something along those lines.

I did not have the loan agreements on my last 2 and was just successful via Lloyds, they were both settled within months, so did not pay a lot into any of the accounts - due to settled them very early, and received lots more on the interest.

Take into account of any rebate they may have given when you settled the loan early if any. (The rebate is normally used to reduce the loan balance).:)
So they will reduce the amount and take any rebate into account, it should work out quite a sum.;)

yes lauz you should now wait 16 weeks no more, it'll be sorted out soon,i don't think the rules on reclaiming are any harder now, it's not too different from before.
