great information!
will keep you posted, im under the impression that due to all the loans going back more than 6yrs ive got no hope but worth the price of a stamp or two.
many thanks
Your welcome.:D;)
I am actually making a reclaim on 2 older loan ppi via Lloyds pre 2001, not a lot of paperwork but know I was sold and mis sold the PPI, however its on hold at the moment due to the Judicial Review issues and whilst they are awaiting to decide on a appeal, but touch wood they have not been rejected up to now.;)
I have also been successful on about 4 or 5 others with Lloyds over the last year.
Go for it and the best of luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
best of luck to you too.
I have no info on my llyods loans, what info do i need? sorry to state the obevious.
Also ive just got off the phone to lloyds and they cant find any details and gave me a loan ppi number that just rings off. they also seem very reluctant to arrange a meeting in branch stating the details of my account would only go back 6yrs is this true do you know?
once again thank you
(if i knew how to get a smiley face you would get one! lol):D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim

Hiya and thank you.
Well many have made reclaims with minimum paperwork with just having the loan account number.
I suggest not to go to the branch and deal with this in writing only in my opinion.
Normally its that of the last 6 years, but I did actually receive some copies of data going back 2001. This was on a request last year.
The information commissioners office (ICO) has some useful info on this sort of thing here.
http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_organisations/data_protection.aspx
and you could always contact them for advice too.

Lol on the right hand side of your posting box there should be some smiley faces shown, not unless they are yet to appear when you make further postings perhaps.:);)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Lloyds will tell you that they only keep records for the last 6 years but they actually keep records of all of your payments, on any account, for the last 10 years. They also keep evidence of any contract you signed into (loan, credit card etc) irrespective of how long ago it was.
They do not answer phone calls and will only respond to emails as and when they feel like it.0 -
you are a fountain of knowledge!
cheers for all your help! pmsl (ive found them).
ive spoke to telephone banking, ppi helpline & lloyds insurance service, non of which can find any record.
managed to get my branches direct number and BINGO!:T
4 loans on file! only concern is they started in 1996 all
paid off, no mis-payments etc. but pretty sure its a little
too long to claim although ive only just become aware of
the mis-selling of ppi (any advice?).
was funny when i told the lady why i wanted the a/c numbers
silence is bliss lol, but then became very protective of my details
and I have to go into the branch now to obtain these a/c numbers
and info which she was very prepared to disclose over the phone till
I stated why i wanted them. the swines!
thanks for all your help. gym time!:):D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim

You need to ask them for evidence of the signed contract that confirms when you started the payments on your card. All companies keep records of signed docummentaion irrespective of how long ago it was.
Although they only keep records of your payments for 10 years you can claim a mis sell for as long back as is relevant. Some claims have been made back as far as 1987 so dont let them fob you off.0 -
The Marksman
They do tend to get round to responding to emails as well.

What I did was email an attachment of my complaint to them and sent one by hardcopy post as well, when emailing them if you have not got the acknowledgement receipt facility, ask them to confirm delivery of your email reclaim/complaint.;)
Lloyds website has details of the complaints procedure as well, and the reclaim questionnaire.

Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
