I had nothing in the e-mail about an appeal:j
From what I have heard the banks face huge penalties if they put any customers ppi claims on hold after this ruling, so hope this is true

Excellent that is good news. Lets hope they dont drag their feet any longer and cough up.

They have done so for long enough.

Hope you get a cheque very soon.:T:T

    Hmmm!

I wonder how this will affect my claim which is with FOS and how the underwriter will play it.

    Hi lucieloo

I went was sure who to go for initially, thought it would be the loan company, but it turns out I had to go through the broker. I wasn't getting anywhere, as they had changed insurers a number of times, so I went through the FOS. My complaints been in about 18 months, turns out that it all lies with the underwriter and I am just waiting now.

Periodically, I get a letter from the FOS saying that they are still dealing with my case, its a complex one according to them.

I am claiming against a single premium and dont think the company was regulated at the time..

Hope this all makes sense a little long winded I know;)

    Same as mine.
And I was also told its a complex case, probably because they have to do more digging in regards of the insurer, lets just hope all will be worthwhile in the end hey?:D;):A Xxx

    Thanks hun

I have no idea, you could be right on that one. It's all making me a little dizzy (excuse the pun):rotfl:

I have never had a point blank refusal, so fingers crossed. I have had no dealings with the underwriter so who knows what their thinking is.:(

Not a problem and your not being nosey at all. My insurer is PINNACLE. It wasn't them to start with, cant remember who now without digging the papers out, but you know what they are like, they get taken over all the time.:(
