Hi there
The pm i sent to Dirks Engine Room was not in relation to his query, sorry, but is there anything we can help with?
Cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Natwest still said no so of the obudsman we go. However, I never recieved in my letter from FOS Natwests response to their decision, even though it said the letter was attached. I e-mailed the adjudicator a couple of times and they sent an electronic version to me. In the letter, it does not officially reject the decision, it merely states that they cannot agree the decision until the judicial review is announced. I thought the judicial review was about opening and reviewing old cases. Therefore, what has my case got to do with that. The adjudicator will send it to the ombudsman but will that alter anything?
Hiya, me again, I did not actually leave you a post in regards of this matter as such after. Sorry, glad Gareth posted, which reminded me to go back to it, lol, cheers G.
It seems that even more present accounts are held as well, basically because of the backlog of these complaints, but what I would do is contact them again and ask them why is your case held if its not an older case.
Give them a call it will do no harm, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi
I started the whole process of claiming PPI mis-selling March 2009. I sent the initial letters off to NatWest, they refused, I sent them a second batch of letters they offered £750 as "Good-will" however this is only 10% of what they charged for a single premium policy (£7350 ish). They refused so sent it to the FOS. They have upheld in our favour (July 10), and informed NatWest three times of thier decision. This has now been passed to the Ombudsban (Oct 10). And nothing...it seems that everything has stopped. FOS give me a stock answer of how busy they are, NatWest will not even acknoledge me.
I can only assume that the Judicial Review has put all on hold, and we have just been left in the dark. No word from any party involved.
Any ideas of where to go from here?

Hi Gareth
That is so annoying, after all that time as well!
Wonder if it would help by contacting someone over them perhaps, it does not seem fair that cases being dealt with before all this JR issue came into affect should intervene with the earlier reclaims, I can understand how frustrated you must feel.
However, the plus side of this is they will owe you more on the interest side of it when it does become finalised etc.
Just a suggestion here, check the details below and maybe you could write to the dept and see what they may advise, I know we all get fed up of all the chasing, and it seems like we're not getting anywhere!

Stay strong Ga, I do understand how you feel, and you may not think it now, but you will get there - eventually.
I understand there may be some sort of decision or at least an update over the following month/Easter time, so hoping it will resolve this situation. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Di
Thanks for the support. I did write to the FOS chief executive and CC'd (probably overkill) CEO RBS, CEO FSA, David Cameron, Claire Perry MP (My MP), The Times, The Daily Telegraph and Robert Peston. CEO RBS wrote back in 3 days in very nice envelope with a bit of a worried "We are looking into your concerns" letter, so perhaps someone is listening.......
I will keep you posted

Rang Citibank who said that all cards had been transferred to Opus and that I should ring them. Opus took over the Citifinancial cards in November 2010 (I closed my account in August 2010). They have confirmed that the PPI has been cancelled and that I have a claim in for refund of PPI. At least I know they have received it now. Thanks Di3004!0

hi,
I was wondering if someone would be knid enough to advise me.
My partner and myself took out a joint loan in 2006.
PPI was included in the loan, it also stated that only the initial named person on the loan was covered for PPI - which happened to be my partner, who was on less money than me.
Is there a possible claim I can proceed with here?
The bank have sent a copy of the original paperwork which states this, and has our signitures.
Secondly, in a seperate case with another bank, I quieried any PPI for another loan, only to be told that the details of that loan cannot be found.
They can see I made loan payments but do not have any specific details of that loan, though they are adamant that there was no PPI.
Would this be another issue, or would it fall under DPA and the loss of my personal data?
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated on these 2 concerns
Thanks0
