hi,just recieved a letter from hsbc this morning telling me that my complaint is being investigated about reclaiming the ppi on my loan,i sent the forms in from this site 6 weeks ago and now they are telling me they have 8 weeks to reply ???? any ideas what i should do as they have already had 6 weeks ?

    Hi there Ken
Maybe its just standard with them confiirming they have 8 weeks (which is what they are entitled to), give them a call in the next 2 weeks and ask for an update if you hear nothing by then, tell them its 8 weeks now (when it does come to 8 weeks that is);). Good luck.

Thanks for this Di. I am just off the phone to FOS and they are taking on my complaint. So it's just a case of waiting for the paperwork from them signing it and sending all other relevant documents on to them. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and I have a complaint reference number.

    Hiya

Your very welcome, good luck with this x;)

    Hi everyone

I engaged Combined Solutions to make a reclaim on my behalf from Paragon Personal Finance which then became a reclaim to Creditflex as apparently Loanmakers were the broker on the loan and they have recently been taken over by Creditflex.

I submitted my paperwork to CS on July 20th and I have yet to have the claim settled. Several phone calls to CS have not given me any helpful information. I am told that the claim is with Creditflex and they keep asking for more time to review the claim. I have spoken with FOS and they have informed me that a lender has eight weeks to make a decision on the claim. I have never been asked by CS to give any further information. I now find that CS do not appear to be answering their phone nor have they responded to my recent emails or voice mails. I wrote to CS yesterday voicing my concerns and expressing my disappointment at their handling of my claim.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so what did you do to resolve the matter?

I hope someone can help me.

    MrsR

    Hi there

I've not heard of them to be honest, are these a claims management company.

I would write to them and maybe suggest cancelling this with them (as long as they don't charge you) and have a go yourself, ask for all your details to be sent back and have a go with the help from this site all free, at least you will know where you are then.

Keep at them and maybe someone else have heard of them and will post up with some ideas on where to take this from here.

    Please keep us posted, cheers.;)

Have you made sure they are a regulated company as all claims management companies do have to be regulated by the ministry of Justice. You may not of heard from them as alot of PPI claims are on hold til early next year. Ive had dealings with a claims management company and im not happy although its not combined solutions.

Yes heard there is a review early next year, May only take just as long if you wait till the banks start dealing with the claims again than go to the fos. Banks are just dragging their feet.

Yes I have checked with MOJ and they are regulated. I finally managed to talk to someone today around lunchtime and they assured me someone would get back to me today... needless to say....

They keep telling me that should this go to court it is more favourable if we have been seen to be giving the lender a little more time rather than go straight to court. Anyway another weekend without any solution.

Thanks for all your responses... and if anyone else has had dealings with this organisation I would love to hear from you.

    Hi donda

The main of the banks are doing this, but your able to complain to the FOS if this have been confirmed to you, but you can either wait with RBS or move on to the FOS, its up to you now, good luck with this.;)
