Hi - Hope everyone is doing ok.

Quick question if I may - If I send an SAR to Halifax re my account there are they obliged to send me info on my accounts with all other HBOS group companies ,ie Bank of Scotland & TSB under the same SAR request?

I hope so cos it will save me £20 :) - just wondered if anyone has tried it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Matty

    Hi Matty

Normally its £10 per request for each different bank, even though these are linked banks, i think you should check with their data dept on this one.
    Good luck.;)

Does anyone have an up-to-date address for Goldfish Credit card PPI queries, I've written twice now to Goldfish c/o of Barclays Bank Plc New Accounts, Department 1, Goldfish, Glasgow, G68 9ZP and Barclaycard, Customer Relations Department, PO BOX 9131, 51 Saffron Road, Leicester, LE18 9DE and had no reply from either of them.

    Hiya

If you contact the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) they should confirm the correct upto date address for you, good luck.

    Hello all,

I have recieved a response via email and letter today from Lloyds tsb informing me that they appologies for the delay with my complaint and that they are not in a position to provide a final response, and that they will consider my complaint as soon as possible. I am now going to the FOS!!!

    Sorry to hear that Lee.

You may also be aware it can also take some time for the FOS to investigate as well, due to backlogs, but hope you won't be waiting too long, fingers crossed.;)

  • Hello All

Just wondering if someone could advise me on the following. I have had a missold PPI complaint with the FOS for nearly 11 months, each time I have contacted them, they have informed me that the case has been awaiting an adjudicator. I have now received a letter from them stating that in order to consider my complaint further I would need to provide a copy of the policy document. Unfortunately I do not have a copy of this. Does this now mean I have to pay £10 to request a SAR to obtain a policy document in order for my complaint to be considered, which is now going to cause even further delays. I am just annoyed at the fact that surely they could have requested this information in month 1.

Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hi there

This is normally procedure and its a good sign they are getting on with it as well.
If the loan is still active, you can request for a copy of the loan agreement by writing a simple request letter, remember to give the account number details, enclose £1 cheque or postal order, and ask they comply by 12 days.

If this account is no longer running, the only possible way to get any data would therefore be a SAR request.

    Good luck with this.:)

Thanks Di, I thought when they said policy document they were referring to a document I maybe should have received detailling the terms and conditions of the PPI etc. I don't recall ever having this document. I do have a copy of my agreement showing the amount of PPI. Thank you for clarifying.
  • Hi to everyone.
I recently started following topis of reclaiming missold MPPI, read article and a lot of discussion on this forum but I would be very gratefull if someone could give me a helping hand and answer my question.
In 10.2008 my wife and me we've bought our house. We used a mortgage advisor and she picked up the best deal on that time - mortgage with halifax and some policy with Scottish Provident (Scottish Mutual Assurance Limited) called SELF ASSURANCE MORTGAGE with benefit Death or earlier critical illness benefit. We were told by the mortgage advisor that this policy is something me and my wife need. Can anyone tell me is that policy also a kind of Payment Protection Insurance and can I claim those payments back or not cos I'm getting a bit confused... Thanks for all your help. Cheers

    Hi and welcome

I think Dunstonh will be able to help with this one, but he don't normally post on this actualy thread, but on the separate threads below, so stay within the reclaiming thread but start your very own and subject it as "Mortgage ppi help" something along those lines and Dunstonh will sure be along at some point today to help.;)

    Good luck with this.
