Can anyone let me have the address for barclays in dublin please, have requested copie of ppi via telephone 3 times and everytime i contact them they are saying will be 7 days, spoke to a lady on thursday and she said will get them typed up manually and post recorded delivery still nothing come. Any ideas, has this is 21 days since first telephone conversation ,was a loan through first plus and brokered by click for freedom they have both had the questionnaires and fp have passed the buck, was given a number for click for freedom and a man called ted rang back with the address, so they must still be in business even though fp said they had gone into liquidation . What a joke they are
Hi there
Found this on google, hope its the correct one.
Barclays Bank Ireland Plc
2 Park Place, Hatch Street, Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland +353 1 618 2600 ()
If the business you stated have gone down under, you could ask if they are registered with the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS)...
http://www.fscs.org.uk/contact-us/
Is so you may be able to make a claim through these.
Please keep us informed. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
i recieved this letter from the f.o.s. today, is this what the banks are putting things on hold for or is it something else ?
i am writing to update you on the case you have asked us to consider.
we asked citi financial for its comments on the complaint you raised and it questioned our jurisdiction to investigate the case.
our jurisdiction (or authority) comes from the rules under which the the f.o.s. was set up and i am currently investigating whether, in my opinium, these allow us to consider the issues you have raised. it may be necessary for me to contact you for further information to help me reach a conclusion.
if i believe that we can continue,i will tell citi financial and ask it to provide any further comments in connection with the issues you have raised. if i agree with citi that we do not have authority, i will write to you with an explanation of how i came to my conclusion. if either you or citi disagree with the outcome i have reached, the case can be referred to an ombudsman for a final decision.
the claim is for a ppi and has allready been with f,o,s, for one year, the letter seems to be a bit vague. any thoughts please
Hi
Maybe someone will be able to shed some light on this matter, but it looks like they are still continuing to investigate and may request for more information if required.
Is there an email contact of your adjudicator at the FOS?
You could query this to them to double check on what they mean.
Good luck, please keep us informed. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi and welcome
Was you mis sold the ppi for any reason?
If you have reasons for making a reclaim, you can make a reclaim on a questionnaire, this replaced the template letter on this site, and you complete and send to whoever set up your policy from the start, they have 8 weeks to give a decision.
Keep copies of all you send and receive, in case you need to refer to this at some point.
