Will do. I also e-mailed Eric Daniels as well as the Customer Care Dept. at Lloyds on those addresses that you gave me. Response today stating that they would like us to supply info again. No mention of this guy's paperwork being wrongly included. Will keep you posted, thanks.

Good luck here and hope this gets resolved soon.
Will look out for your posts, X;)

  • Farrka, how long did it take for the to make you this offer
  • Hi All,

When reading up on reclaiming PPI for loans I hear sometimes hear mention that the loan must have finished within the last 6 years.

Why is this exactly? If the loan finished 7 years ago for example, does this mean you're unable to reclaim?

Specifically I am talking about Egg.

  • hi
i have sent a letter to ikea claiming my ppi cashback 7 weeks ago. finally got a standard letter from them saying they are looking into my complaint!
how long should i leave it before chasing them up?
has anyone dealt with ikea on ppi?

also sent a cheque for a £1 to argos asking for a copy of my agreement, the cheque cleared in my bank on the 15th september but still no agreement, should i be chasing this by now or wait a few more days?
    thanks

    Hi All
(Posted the comment below yesterday and thanks to Di for her great advice. Was wondering if anyone can tell me if I would need to claim seperately for 2 home improvement loans I got with this mortgage or would that be included in the claim I made on the mortgage PPI)
I requested the PPI back from my mortgage account with LLoyds a few weeks back and have already had a letter today to say I will be getting a full refund as soon as I signed the enclosed acceptance slip. There were no figures in the letter to say how much I am being refunded nor if interest was to be paid so I phoned the Complaints Team. I told them I was a bit aprehensive about signing when I didn't have the figures, they said they didnt know how much it would be but that I had to sign the slip but they did say no interest would be added. I have sent an email to Scott Copsey at Customer Care detailing my concerns about signing the slip and also to say I clearly stated on my complaint letter that I expected interest to be added at 8%. Hope I have done the right thing. Any advice

this is the Lloyds standard procedure,

once you sign the acceptance thye will send you a full breakdown within 21 days, then you will receive your full refund within a further 21 days.
my initial letters did not mention the 8%, just mentioned inline witht he fos recommendations, so you should be ok.

over the last 2-3 months they seem to have got their act together in terms of a process although it still takes a little while to go through.

cheers and well done on your win.

  • Thanks Robbedofmymoney (Great Name)

Sorry my question wasn't set out very well, my excuse, I'm blonde. I wondered if I would need to make a separate claim for my home Improvement loans or will that be considered with my mortgage claim.

if they were seperate loans you will probably have to make seperate claims,
