Amershall, you make me laugh, thought you went to the bank!!! ha! ha!

Up to you, certainly get them all working, could even ask them to send to the relevant office via fax and send you a copy of the fax at the same time. ( time and money - theirs)

If you are not joking i would do above, chice is yours

    Hi Amersall,
Have just had an email from the FOS saying that I am still in the Ombudsman queue. It is getting ridiculous now.
I have emailed them back saying that I want an answer by the end of this month which, after 2 and half years with them, and be a prioritised case, I think is more than reasonable.
Do you think it is worth me writing to Natalie Ceeney, the Chief Ombudsman and CEO or should I wait until the end of the month?

:mad: this is ridiculous. if i were you i would ask fos for an update each friday untill the end of the month.I would email ceo, i think this is a ridiculous amount of time and let her know whats happened in your case and tell her this time scale is not acceptable, please let me know what she says, hopefully she will put a rocket up whoevers a***se is dealing with your case x

Go for it, this is bad. If people are not willing to handle your case quicker, i would make clear, politly that you, your bank etc have a certain period of time to sort out issues such as this. However, you can understand their heavy work load. I would request for him/her to deal your case as an exception due to the length of time - two years - joke. If you are refused i would then with it a much more experienced member of the team to deal with your case.
At the very least i would have her faxed by the bank, whilst you are, ( make sure it is addressed to her - not her dept). Request an e-mail within one week of receiving the fax and updated on a weekly basis.
    What does everyone else think?

If i were you i would email the person who is dealing with your case and tell them you think you have been treated unfairly and you would like to put a complaint in about the fos timescale on your case, and could they please tell you who to put your complaint in to.This could be worth a shot, so go for it x
