Just had a reply from Lloyds from one of my complaints that were Loancheck and now with FOS. Claimed 3150.00 plus interest plus 8% they offered Good will gesture of 483. Have written to say this is not acceptable. The thing is they have already paid CORI (Commercial overdraft insurance) back because of medical conditions and are now not accepting those medical conditions on the current complaint. Have pointed this out to them and await their reply with interest.0

Thanks Amersall will keep right on top of them. Have not failed on a claim yet although this is the first with Lloyds. FOS have upheld complaints on other loans with different companies on the same argument so am hopeful. Hope you are well.:mad:0

i have no doubt you will win, and well deserved x0 -
Thanks for the info.
Just say, having read some of the other posts, I haven't sent an SAR, just a re-claim letter and I didn't really even give a reason. I just used the template one on here.0 -
Hi all quick question and a bit of history.
2004 - Bought some dj equipment from mail order company, all done over phone, sent out Black Horse agreement to sign. ppi added without my knowledge.
2010 - Complain to Black Horse - they say "We did not sell the ppi for this agreement, it was sold by DJ(retailer) at the point of sale.
On this basis we do not accept your claim but have forwarded a copy of your letter and explained them to investigate the issues raised and respond directly"
Now presuming this to be correct, am I right in saying my chances are not looking good?, I imagine this retailer was not authorised. The Black Horse letter stinks of Fobb Off.
However I have my suspicions that I may infact of been put onto a different bloke when discussing the finance(ie BH).
I'm just a bit confused as to where i'm going with this 1, any advice much appreciated.0 -

black horse are correct in refering your complaint to the people who sold the policy to you,
what i would do is write to these people with copy of Black Horse response attached and request they investiaget your complaint, once they repsond you can thne take your next step.
they may come back and say they only refered you to BH in which case you can go back to them. (at least then there will be no doubt)
no doubt Di will be along soon to add a bit moreI'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -

Hi there
Good luck with this.
An SAR is not essential, just maybe useful if further information is required.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi
Yes they are correct, if its not them that set this up, but the retailer who did.
However, as they state they have forwarded your letter, send a follow up to make sure they are dealing with it.
Tell them your aware your letter was forwarded on to them by BH, and will they please confirm receipt of delivery, as they have 8 weeks as from the date on your letter to deal with it.
I know this can be confusing, even though the agreement has the lenders details enclosed, but the ones who sold and set this up are still responsible for mis selling the product to you.
Does that make any sense? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
