Thanks so much, can't believe what a friendly and helpful place this is!

You are all wonderful, and would never have even attempted this if I did not know I could ask you all every step of the way, as I just do not have a clue with this sort of thing. xx :T

Oh and just another very silly question, but at the bottom of this questionnaire is has complaint logged by.. date... then staff contact no.

Is this for staff, or do I sign the complaint logged by part, as no other part requiring me to sign. I was going to leave it.

Thanks so much, see what I mean? :rotfl:

Right to what I can make out of this, it must be for staff, I have never had dealings with these - nor have had to complete a questionnaire, but I am aware lots on here have done with these.

I would have thought you would have to sign somewhere though, hopefully someone will be along soon with the answers for you on this one, or you could start a new thread below with the subject line of "Barclays Questionnaire help".

LOL, don't worry your doing good :rotfl::D;)

Has anyone had any dealings with the FOS regarding credit card PPI reclaiming against Lloyds TSB.
My original complaint was made to Lloyds TSB in October 2007 and they rebuffed my complaint twice because they said I took it out in 2005 after they had improved their sales procedures. The thing was, I had it attached to my card in 1987, which they eventually admitted, but they still refused my claim.
After 2 years with the Financial Ombudsman Service it was looked at by an adjudicator in February 2010.
The adjudicator recommended that Lloyds TSB uphold my complaint and refund all the monies, plus interest, going back to 1987.
Lloyds did not bother to respond to the letter from the FOS so it has now progressed to being looked at by one of the actual Ombudsman, which could take several more months to get a final outcome.
I hope that it is all worth the wait, which could be 3 years from start to finish. I cannot believe that Lloyds TSB did not have the decency to even respond to the FOS. Surely they must have had a legal responsibility to do so?

Ok something has just occurred to me as well, before I send this questionnaire back.

The first loan I took out with Barclays was actually 1998, and I actually have 3 agreements here, where I was persuaded to have a top up loan each of these times.

What I am thinking now is, do I have a valid claim all of these going back to '98 as they are all top ups, are are they treated as separate agreements and only valid claim now is the one I am going for, last one of 2004?

    Thanks again

    Hi there
Yes I have and my hubby.

LLOYDS ignored the adjudicators decision where they upheld this and it was moved on to the ombudsman himself, it did take a few months but they stood by the original decision made by the adjudicator.

I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end, have you requested for distress compo as well?

That was my hubby's, yet mine was resolved with the first adjudicator. Both on CC PPI taken out in 2001.

    Thank you for that.
The adjudicator did also ask for Lloyds to pay distress compo too.
How long did you have to wait for the Ombudsmans decision, and, how long did you have to wait for Lloyds to reimburse you?

I'm about to make a claim against HFC for a PPI insurance sold to me when taking out a sofa from DFS.

However, I can't find an address to send too. I've noticed a few people have done claims for HFC... what address did you use?

    Thanks

Right with mine, it was more or less just a few weeks that LLoyds paid out on mine at the adjudicators stage, with hubby's with it being ignored, I cannot remember on top of my head but I think it was earlier in the year of 2009 it was passed on to the adjudicator maybe April/May, as he sent his complaint to the FOS in 2008, and I think it it was the with the ombudsman about Sept 09 time, he upheld this, and they MUST do an instructed by the actual ombudsman.
However, it was about end of Oct/Nov 2009 my hubby sighed the acceptance slip, FOS sent to LLoyds in Dec 2009, and my hubby been chasing up the refund ever since, so the FOS have got involved as well again by chasing them up, he have been told to expect the cheque through the post any day now.

LLoyds will not any longer discuss this directly with my hubby, as they sent a letter to state they are communicating this one with the FOS.

I am sure yours will be okay though, as some do not wait as long as that.

    Fingers crossed.;)
