I can't believe you gave up chocolate for a 100 days. I really can't believe that. maddness.
It is 244 days till the end of the year. the first 121 haven't been too stunning but hey ho.
In my original plan when I came here was to be out of debt by 2010.
well lets see what happens.
my June deadline for paying off my 0% card is looking shakey. I still have around 1880 on there and my quidco money won't come through for a while. I might try and aim for less then a 1000 pounds instead.
must sort out my post.
things to do for extra money.
1. quidco
2. musicmagpie
3. sell my phone some where.
4. bingo. !!!! must do that today.
next break I shall go get my post to sort out.
baby steps xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
I know - to be fair I only gave up buying chocolate. I really wanted to do it to stop snacking but crisps, biscuit and cake intake has gone up!!!! Oh well I guess I'll have to give up one of those next! I still manage to get chocolate if someone brings it in at work!
£1000 would be a good target to get to. While it's great to set yourself really high targets more realistic ones that you can meet are good too.
I've got lots to do for making more money. I'm just going to have to overcome my fear of ebay. I have a pile of stuff in the corner of the living room. I am getting to that point where I am getting rather overwhelmed by my own clutter. I can't wait til my exam is over and done with and then it is project 'Get Fit, Get Rich!'.
Enjoy the weekend!

Hmmm project get fit get rich I like the sound of that;)
Well my loan repayment went out so I am now £15,741.75 in debt
that means I have to find/scrape up 742 pounds by the end of the month to get sub 15,000.
I need to pay
vet - 151
plus the 25 quid I spent today (Sister's b'day)
and I am sure there was something else.
but I have some quidco money coming and might be able to do some extra shifts at tutoring.

Hi
Is the 742 in addition to the 1000 for your CC debt?
I guess as exams come up there will be the push for a bit of extra tutoring - I hope so for the bank balance?
Are you still doing Avon? Does it work for you?
Catch up soon - off to revise again. What a way to spend a lovely bank holiday weekend! I have told eveyone I know to shoot me if I ever talk about going on a course that involves essays and exams ever again!

Crumbs no! The 742 takes me below 15,000. Actually I have just checked on line banking - its 766? hmmm. My money is so complicated now I have an A and L account - I get very confused. Barclays used to be so much easier everytime you do something it shows up. A nd L don't move money very quickly at all and the running balance always has money missing compared to the statement summary.
If I pay the 742 to the CC then it would be 1100ish. but I think since I have to pay for the mot the vets and my sisters birthday it won't happen exactly like that but I shall do what I can.
I think I might move my wages and DD's back to Barclays. much clearer system.
I don't do Avon, its a bit of a night mare re tax and customers NOT paying. Hope the revision is going well Urgxx

I agree about A&L. I've just transferred away from them! I have moved to First Direct and am very impressed. They also do fast online payments.
Getting sub £15k will be a great boost - I'm sure you'll get there.
Off to revise for a bit before taking the afternoon off. Hope it is sunny where you are.

Good luck with getting to sub 15k Buffy and with the studying URG123:j0

Well a bit of a Bank Holiday weekend update.
My regular payments have gone out and I am £15,766.71 in debt.
Dinner's ready tho so I have to finish this later xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Have now eaten dinner, very nice chicken.
My ears hurt from being pierced.
any how I plan after paying my vet bill and the MOT I aim to pay enough off to be sub 15k. I can be skint this month since it is no one's birthday oops kack its my sister's. God how bad am I? wonder what she wants?
well I might still be able to manage it........ I need to sort out bank accounts tho,
and I am debating what to do about Avon. There is a collection of flats at the bottom of my road I was thinking of putting books out there? I might go ask on the Avon thread.
I am really disappointed with myself this weekend I havent done nearly enough work and it has really brought it home to me how much I just want this school year to be OVER.
Aside from that I burnt all my old paperwork in my new incinerator which was good fun and a little nerveracking. (that involved sorting through loads of post)
And I got my ears pierced and dyed my hair and got rid of loads of clutter, so personally I am feeling much better. Its three weeks till 1/2 term and I can handle work.
and technically I am 15741 pounds in debt. Flaming a and L - the money has gone from my current account but not shown up in Halifax? so I am 25 quid od in Halifax..............*fume*
My goals for the rest of the year.
1. get work sorted
2. pay off at least 1000 pounds each month.
3. Learn to drive.
Each day I have to do something towards each of those goals.
and with that in mind I shall go and do my daily clicks
take care all
