    I am Assistant Accountant and I work for manufacturing company that mainly exports. Only 5-10% of produce stays in the UK.
    So far we are doing fine and no redundancies here. However people that are retiring this first quarter will not be replaced (there are 2 or 3 of those here).

    I am an accounts administrator for a construction company, things are eerily quiet. However, hubby is a self-employed commercial body repairer and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the working day for him. It seems like instead of companies buying new vehicles they are 'making do and mend' at the moment.
