Have to say...I didn't really even flutter today (how bad is that for my 1st day back!!!) and none of my lists been done:mad: . Have been to work though, put 1 load in WM, towels in TD and done online shop for delivery on Wednesday.
My kids school is shut tomorrow (Birmingham schools are all shut) so, they'll be going to my parents - if I can get to work:rotfl: . If I can't then I'll be able to play catch up with flying tomorrow!!
Note to self....must try harder!!!!:rolleyes:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

We had about 2" of fresh snow before...in some areas its about 4-5", but now its sleeting so I don't think I'll have a very happy little girl tomorrow as she wanted to build a snowman and there wasn't enough snow before bedtime
Not really done much flying today, I just seem to be chasing my tail and getting nowhere fast.I managed to wash dishes and prepare meals.
I really need to get a handle on things. SO as of tomorrow - its 1 NVQ unit knowledge questions a day, but I'll spread unit 3 over 2 days as there is so much in it and its all about child safety so lots of stuff I need to get right. I best head for bed. I'm working with a year 5 class tomorrow who's teacher said I'll be needing a bottle of vodka by hometime  I'm sure it won't be too bad - but I'm taking my own paracetamol with me as I've already got an achy shoulder and I don't need a headache to go with it.

Evening!
embb - bet you could still do cricket stumps!:D
mOZzy - that's where my Head Office is, in Windsor, but unfortunately I'm not heading your way!:D
I did end up working from home, so it meant I could keep the washing machine and tumble dryer going! :T Lots of snow where I should have been so the manager called to ask me to cancel as he thought I'd get snowed in, and my appointment for tomorrow looks dodgy as well.Still got plenty of referencing to do though so I'm not overly worried.
Cazzie - so sorry about friend's baby. A card would be a good start, but I remember when I lost mine that people actively avoided talking about it, and that was what I needed, so just for her to know you are there and willing to listen if she needs it would be nice, but it's not just now, when she'll get lots of support, it's in a week or two, when everyone else has drifted, that she'll value your support.
gerturdeanna - glad OH is OK. What a fright for you!
Soappie - do you take contracts? I'll be needing the shower room completely retiled soonish.
Lots of lovely piccies today! My turn tomorrow - after I collect my new Foster Puppy from the dog pound
Oh, sorry, did I shout that? Just a bit excited.
Greenbee - think my insulation etc is pretty good, but DH is putting up a pole at the front and back doors for a curtain. Despite double glazied doors they're cold spots. (I'm sure all that glass is not sensible!)
I forgot I did a clean on the dishwasher and the washing machine yesterday.
Valli - just noticed your "Don't put it down, put it away" signature. I've been saying that for years to my two - and OH!
DS is changing to the same A & P class as me from tomorrow night, as the person he car shares with is dropping out (baby complications) but we had a text today to say call and check as they cancelled today's classes.
Anyway, DH tidied up some of the kitchen then I finished it off, we ate at different times tonight as I collected DD from Bristol coz train service was trashed, so it looks OK ready for tomorrow morning. DS has put a loaf of bread in on timer ready for morning and I'm off for a bath and I'll clean the bathroom while it's running, then just need to do bath when I get out, so not too bad a day, without a list.
Hugs to anyone who would like one, sleep well and God bless. xDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

:D:D another 3 and I'll be at my pre-christmas/birthday weight. After all I couldn't be that good when the staff in the school bought me choccies & wine for Christmas and then this for my birthday :
:D It went down very well

:xmastree: (I hope this is the right christmas tree!)
Hi, I have been meaning to sign up to this challenge but have been procrastinating too much and the flat is a mess. So I would really like to join in if it is ok.
In the living room today:
Collected clutter and moved them to the correct rooms (to be sorted on the rooms' days).
Filed away last year's paperwork into "Old" filing boxes.
In process of shredding about 6 months worth, with lots of breaks while the shredder keeps over heating.
Cleared my desk (I have my office in the living room).
Looking forward to tomorrow0 -
Pink - do tell us about the foster puppy... I've looked in my diary for the next year and I'm afraid I don't think I can squeeze you in wrt to the tiling :rotfl:
Nicki - what a lovely cake!
Greenbee - thanks for the tip about the epsom salts. I don't actually have any in.... maybe I should put them on my shopping list
I am now off to bed. I am really tired. But it's a good tired. I feel I've excelled myself over the last few days. Shame the rest of the house is now a tip :rotfl:
Night night my fly lady and gent friends. Sleep well...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

***still seething***
oooh I LOVE yellow French Fancies (and you only get two in a box) seen the cake but only in pink. I envy you your cake Nicki
Tips please - HOW can I get my wanton spendthrift DS to understand that he should LOOK AFTER his posessions...DVDs etc
This is the second phone he has lost
so that's two phones - say £180
Two memory sticks (and one went through the washer but I rescued that)
Nintendo game he 'lent' someone at school which never came back
I would be having palpitations if this was my stuff...
I already refuse to buy him DVDs/playstation games because he won't put them back in the case
Mind you on the plus side at least I won't be topping up his phone for a while- and he has lost the pay monthly argument before he even starts:rolleyes: (I too have a Pollyanna side)
But I am absolutely livid - no way will I get to sleep for ages now...and my head is thumping.
And I missed the end of WDYTYA (looking for phone)
- they had just matched the medals to the pic and found the mysterious small picture of a lady...
