you sound so much like me ive been burnt alot... i mean alot but this one from london was the last one i really trusted as she was really there for me but for the last maybe 5 months... well really since i found out i was pregnant she hasnt really cared i mean when i went london and i wanted to pour my heart out that i was so worried about money and all that and all she wanted to talk about was going out for drinks after i got on the train home ... i dont really like any of the parents at my daughter school they're all loud mouthed chavs ... their kids are sweet (well most) but i dont get my daughter anymore coz i cant make it up the hill... i do find it hard making friends so when i loose the few i have it really hurts... maybe i should just give up i dont have much luck with females they always seem to hate me in the end... i generally hang out with lads easier to deal with
apart from my gay bf
... feeling alittle better now thank you sometimes its just good to get it off your chest and as i say ive had such a poo week i just miss doing the girlie thing ... thanks ladies for listening really helped
x
Still searching .....:)

I think sometimes when you have kids some "friends" tend to fall off the edge of the picture... DH went to boarding school and as a result had a really close circle of friends, but he was the first to get married/have kids etc (there are 2 who have settled down and had a lo 5 years on) the rest are still partying - lol they keep on threatening to come up and visit since DH suggested that might be easier than us all trooping down to London :rotfl: tbh the chances are they will settle down at some point and be on the same wavelength - just not yet and he seems happy enough with the bi-annual email/phonecall etc The jungle grapevine seems to pass enough info back and forwards so we know who is where and how they are getting on vice-versa.
Take it easy and when you feel up to it make the leap and chat to someone at the ante-natal class/mums and tots. It is worth it sometimes - the hardest part is just the fear x0 -
Morning all.
Just took me ages to catch up and cant remember a thing... other than all the food you girls talk about, which makes me insanely hungry!
Selfish students in the flat 2 upstairs woke me up @ 1am with their drunken behaviour outside my front door, and another neighbour has had the telly blaring since 3am this morning. They are in the next block and back right onto our bedroom and living room wall. I can hear it really loud in both rooms and it's driving me mad! I lay there for an hour trying to get back to sleep and got really worked up. Feel like taking a hammer to wall until they shut up0 -

Does anyone know a goods site with lists of what to pack for the hospital - just with my recent scare I have decided to get everything ready asap. Think it would relax me a bit more - besides I may still be induced at 36 weeks so that only gives me less than 6 weeks to prepare anyway.0

tarajayne - I would tell your daughter not to worry about the PCOS. I got diagnosed about 10 years ago and we were told there would be no way we could have children without help. Well before we even went down the help route we found out I was pregnant.
R.Mac - HUGE congrats, I hope something happens soon for you.
Well as for me my appointment went well yesterday apart from the fact they struggled to get blood so had to try 4 different times and places  which was weird as normally they never have any problems. But the unexpected surprise was we got to hear bumps heartbeat when she finally found it, it was only for a short time and then apparently bump went wandering again!
Can't wait for the 20 week scan now. Only 3 weeks to go :T
Right, off to start (finally) doing some baby stuff today - hope everyone else is ok?You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Yipee!!!! I'm so glad for you!
Right, yesterday I bought a new bra, a flamin 40E, and I was right inbetween DD and E so the E had a little room. Thismorning I put it on and I am spilling over the cups!!! But The back is now a little too large! And my big bloated tummy has went down and generally just lost a bit of weight... over night! Unless it's just that my boobs are now so huge they make ther rest of me look smaller? :rotfl:
The necklace I ordered when I was booked in for a termination has been shipped, it's got my boys names and a little silver star with stardust on the back. Looking forward to getting it now, it will symbolise what almost happened and that suddenly hope can bloom when you least expect it (is now tearful). This one here
Watching saturday kitchen and it's making my mouth water in a good way.0
