Tried that - put my fav radio station on through the tv about an hour ago and I'm still here.. :( There should be a "housework music" channel or something!

I know - will open the back door and make the house freezing.. that'll at least make me get dressed! :D

It worked :D Have moved enough stuff around that he'll think I've been working hard all morning ;)

Completely different note.. two of my friends are getting married this year. One in April (when I'll be **** about 28wks) and one in August (4-6 weeks after I've given birth). Any suggestions for where I look for something to wear? They're both church and then laid back reception types.

OMG.. where I've put the **** is where I'd got to in my typing when said friend knocked on my front door to deliver our invitation - that was scary!!  I haven't seen her in over a year so very random that she should call round at the precise time.

well - Hello there everyone. I'm still here :D

Nothing happened since last night. I was quite uncomfortable, but once I went to sleep was fine and have bene ever since I woke up!

The house is sparkling and tesco is about to deliver lots of goodies - hubby off to the gym and I'm running out of things to do - so might go bake a cake :D

No word from Caz - so fingers crossed she's doing better than me :D

    Afternoon everyone.

r.mac - glad you seem to be staying upbeat. You must be a very warm and comfortable house for your little baby:)

I am trying to put all the nastiness of the last few days out of my mind, well for the weekend anyway. I have been mummy from hell and my poor kids have been really suffering because of how stressed I have been. We have all been for a nice family walk with the (overweight) dog and stopped off at the shop to get some goodies for lunch. I need to hoover and give dh a kick up the bum to sort the washing machine out, it's full of his stuff!

Baby has been giving some really hard strong kicks and movements the last couple of days, dh said it nearly kicked him out the bed the other night:rotfl:

Me either.... I'd be inclined to throw it against the wall or something... very irritating.
  • Hello all,

    Just fancied having a rant.

Just sick and tired of the muck everywhere in our house. 3 bed semi which we have had almost 4 years. We have gutted it ourselves top to bottom and done everything from plumbing, tiling, electrics etc. We (have subcontracted out on this project) are in the middle of a loft extension which will provide a 4th bedroom (ours to be!) and an ensuite and currently we have only half a roof, it is freezing, mucky and grit everywhere. We still have to finished off hall and landing (once extension is finished), kitchen floor and turn the computer room into a nursery.

We have worked bloody hard over the past almost 4 years buyt have had enough now and just want it all sorted for when I am 30 in March! Argh!

Oh Icklebeans, I kinda now how you feel. I live in a rented property and have had garage doors dropping off, boilers giving up and needing replacing, shower packing in and only have cold water in bathroom for last 4 months, mouldy stuff in bathroom as theres no ventilation etc etc. I love this flat and it just wouldnt be cost effective for us to move as we have been here a few years but aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

It does seem for every step forward theres two steps back. I hope it all pulls together in time for your b'day or atleast before your tiny two come along.

Just been to Babies R US and IKEA!!!

BRU has a good sale on - was looking at the travel systems and most were half price so would be more cost effective than buying brand new car seat on it's own! The girl in there was really helpful and said that further down the line we can book in to have a personal shopper if we want! She also gave us a catalogue but noticed the vouchers expired on 28.1.09 - it was the Autumn/Winter one so they may have another one coming out soon!

Oh yeah and when I asked how long the sale was on for and did they have them often she said tbh at the moment they've had stuff on sale for ages and probably will have for a while with current climate!

OH even asked me if there was anywhere else I wanted to go and look for baby stuff but I told him I was just looking and that in a few months we will go again.

r.mac - more labour dust coming your way :p
