Right... someone explain to me why I feed two VERY good mousers and still I have just found signs of a mouse in the kitchen cupboard? Useless furballs lol
Hubbie been told he's being sent to the loft tonight to get the mousetraps out of storage for me - anything that dares nibble at my emergency rolo storage needs to go I'm afraid!

A tip - use chocolate in the trap not cheese. (not your rolo's though!!)

My dad lives in a house with stone walls so they get in really easily - he forgot to tell me about traps one night that he had set before going on a night shift. About 3am I heard loads of snapping and got really scared - it was the traps under the bath! Dad swears by chocolate - says he always catches more

    AF - I left on Thursday ;):D

I had a beautiful huge bouquet of flowers, a collection amounting to nearly £200, a card and my assistant had made up a beautiful box full of 'essentials' (clothes and little shoes and socks etc) which had both hubby and I in tears on Thursday night, bless her!

Oh sorry MFD- bit all over the place me....sooo tired.

All of what you received sounds lovely. Very spoilt indeed!!!!!

aren't the little shoes and socks just beautiful.

wanted to ask, are you using fairy to wash bub's clothes in and the softener too (or comfort)

    xxxxx
  • I am using persil small and mighty non-bio and surcare sensitive fabric conditioner. Neither have a particularly strong smell and I want Bubba to smell of Bubba, not what I washed his clothes in IYSWIM.

I am sorry to hear that you are tired but you shouldn't be at work lady, and you know it

Tine, try ringing your local council, I had a mouse problem a couple of years ago, before the first cat and they came and put poison down for free... Although they used to do wasps for free and now charge... Always worth an ask though, and saves having to deal with bodies in traps...

I'm a country gal so dead bodies don't bother me... I have to pick them off my front door matt often enough :rotfl: I just object because I have 2 cats who are VERY good at catching mice and yet STILL I have a mouse in my kitchen  Useless...

MFD, I use small and mighty, I love the smell! And I weaned myself off softener about 3 years ago and have never looked back!

Tine, we've never had a mouse but the older cat (the only one that goes out at the minute) often bring birds back... And they're not always dead!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I agree with chocolate, My in laws had a mouse problem in their place in France and they used Nutella spread on mousetraps which was very effective!

Would it not be worth another look esp. with interest rates going down? Or, can you just not get finance?

I had a passport deal on first car but would have had to have paid of £2,500 this May which I don't have so swapped it early and took out the standard HP finance. Works out at £140 per month for 5 years - suits me for now. Will probably change car in 3 years time when finances will hopefully have improved - althou thinking about it............... baby, 3 door hatchback. may need to change sooner rather than later
Well we have no money so would be no point in looking if we cant get finance lol
