    Back to pumpkin mode? ;)

Night night Sami and MFD :)

I'm getting ahead of myself - have been looking at childcare in our area (inspired by the recent thread on it) :)

ETA: This thread - there's a good link in post #2 for anyone wanting to know what's available in their area.

    Morning all.
Well what a day we had yesterday, a whole 3 weeks after getting our car it's broken
Think it's the engine and I'm majorly !!!!ed off!
I just cant beleive it, I love the car but knew it was a bad idea from the off.
Looks like we are not going to Scotland now which is what i'm mostly hacked off about, I am willing to pay for a flight £110 but OH is having none of it, i'm gutted.
Thing is we would end up spending near on £150 for petrol anyway.
I actually want to just sob right now.

I think i'm going to get the TT steriliser from Tesco, I did get a 2nd hand Avent one but I want new and for £20 I cant really grumble.

  • AM - I got the TT electric steriliser for £18 delivered from the TT website. It took about a week to come. They had the microwave one for £8 too.

What a pain about the car. Are there any cheap train fares going at the moment?

Awwww AM that sucks! What happened? Did it just go "pop" or not start???

I can't even remember which one you got in the end :) Terrible... self proclaimed petrolhead and I forget stuff like that lol! I have a feeling there was some disagreement about what car you were getting or something? Might be remembering wrong!

Right I'm vaguely hoping that today I won't be as sleepy as I was yesterday - I have several naps and snoozes through the day which is not like me! One maybe! But I was just exhausted all day.
So have had breakfast, gonna let that go down to minimise heartburn which got bad last night again grrrr, then going to put another load of washing on (need to get through all the bio stuff before I can wash Roo's stuff after all lol and we're running low on towels hehe), then do a bit of tidying (bah humbug) and then out to do some shopping. Need a few food bits and for a change I might go make the treck to an Aldi or a Lidl... Then again we need a new shelving unit for the top of the stairs so maybe I should trot off to Ikea? Hmmmmmm

    Morning all:hello:

Late pregnancy insomnia- anyone else suffering? MFD? or are you knackered from work ending and no nursery furniture yet?! (me either by the way!:o)

So now I'm here feeling gloomy because (on a different thread) someone let me know in no uncertain terms that the name I've chosen for my baby boy is a crap one. Felt a bit sore about it actually. Yesterday was my grannie's funeral (I lived with her from when I was 8), and because MW had advised me not to travel I didn't go.

A lovely MSE friend threw a little party for me to take my mind off it and now I know that the big wide world will not probably have nice things to say about my baby's name! Oh the things that turn over in your head at this time of day!!!

    Anyway, gloomy rant over!:o

Hungry now but lovely OH has bought ingredients for smoked salmon scramblies later, so desperate to hang on and not spoil it. Our last valentines day as just us!;)

Love to you all, and hugs for anyone who wants them:D,

    Weezl x

Aww Weezl - I missed you yesterday. I am struggling to sleep too - which really pees me off because I only actually needed the loo once last night but I still kept waking

One of the reasons that we are not telling people the names on our list is so they can't influence us either way. We got loads of questions from the family last night but managed to keep our mouths shut :D

If it helps - the ladies on here are always very nice so if you need a boost post it on here then you will get lots of positive reassurance (most of us are just so nosey that we would say 'Hulk Kong' was nice if anyone said they had chosen it ;):D )

Hope you feel a bit better today.

ohh thanks for that, I told my mate about that a couple of months ago, didnt realise they were still doing them so cheap.

I havent really looked, flights are £210 for both of us, and the only train fares i've seen are £118 each.

Dont really know how or where to get cheap rail tickets.
