MFD, I've just had a quick Google for you..

Sounds like normal late pregnancy stuff - swelling in hands/fingers and pins and needles can be carpal tunnel syndrome. Doesn't say there's much you can do for it, just that it goes away after the birth :)

oooh I wish I had some Crunch!! Told you Nestle choc is yummy :D..

I wish I had more - only reason I stopped at four squares was cos that's all there was left! :( Mind you, we got 3 small easter eggs from Tesco for £2.50 - one for me (Mini Eggs), one for OH (mini Creme Egg) and one for baby (Milkybar - calcium! ;)) - so mine's in the fridge for later.

I've had my steak and chips. The steaks were huge so OH only cooked half of mine and I'll have the other half tomorrow as a steak sandwich. Good for my iron levels at least! Lemon cheesecake from M&S still to go.. :D
  • Thanks elle - I do feel that over the last week I have gone from 'happily pregnant' to a whale that struggles to move!

Hopefully not too long to go now. I washed the first load of Bubba's clothes yesterday (and a tip from me - I asked hubby to put them into the drier for me which meant that he was involved too) I can't believe how small everything is! There were also some things that I had forgotten I had bought.

Hubby bought paint today so I will clear out Bubba's room on Monday so we can get it painted before the nursery furniture arrives on Thursday!!

    Can't wait now!

How is everyone? Can't really pop back and look at the moment - we have hubby's family over...

STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!
  • Relax and put your feet up MFD and hopefully you'll deflate a little... And if you're really lucky you won't go as far over as r.mac ;)

I'm so very tired... Thankfully have a lie in tomorrow... But still a little sanding to do, then got to paint the woodwork... Then teach hubby to hang wallpaper... Might of got the woodwork done tonight but we broke for pizza and when we went back I kept getting shaky... And hubby wouldn't sand because he said the noise went right through him... More likely because he's a lazy get....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MFD: Have you given ur OH a poke about getting a lock on the porch yet?
I have to say I'm not one for waiting for my OH to do something I would prob get one of those little JML stick on alarms, stick it on with blue tack and switch it on while I'm in, they have a real ear piercing sound that I'm sure would put your annoying neighbors off :D
I'm off to see if I can find them coz looks like JML don't do them anymore
    Ta da http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOOR-WINDOW-ENTRY-ALARM-SET-TWIN-PACK-INCL-BATTS_W0QQitemZ310122084534QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Burglar_Alarms?hash=item310122084534&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1686%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I think you can usually get them in pound shops

  • Sami - good idea about the jml alarm - the porch has a patio-type door and we have to replace the whole thing...the lock is broken!

I think the note did the trick, although the neighbour was a bit frosty with hubby today.

Elle, we are pretty much done apart from a few little things!

Krystal - sounds like you need to slow down hun - getting shaky is never a good thing.

Random question - why so people think it is a good idea to try and pull a pregnant lady up using one hand

    Coz they're stoopid :rotfl:
I find being pushed up is better than being pulled, pulling usually encourages you to tense ur stomach muscles which in my case anyway is pointless while preg

ooh I noticed amongst many other ones a voucher for cereal in the tesco mag and one of the cereals was "curiosly cinnamon" mmmmmmmmmmm just had a handful
I doubt that box will still be in the cupboard by the time nxt weekend arrives :D
Just finished a bowl of coco pops too (i wanted a bit of milk but didn't want to drink it plus it was the closest thing to a nestle crunch) hopefully gonna get myself to bed now - Shock horror Sami is going to bed at night and not early morning!! *feinting smiley*
