Jo_ R I think telling people you'd like vouchers is good as it will cheer you up to go off shopping when ur brain is frazzled from looking after a newborn and you don't know how ur body will change once bubs is out of it so you'll need to try on and maybe shop in different places. I know I used to live in Topshop Jeans but now they just don't fit me no matter which size or style I try
Glam look for "freebies Gold" on the site I posted the link recently Martin has compiled a list of freebies you can apply for
Elle I got my FSA folder from MW at GPs and when I asked MW at scan clinic about HiPG all she did was hand me another one and said it'll be in here (it wsn't and I think Chris has destroyed my spare one!)
Its called "the parent's guide to money" its got a disc for comp which I've not tried out yet but it says its got calculators on it to work out budget, tax credits etc.
You could try calling 0845 606 1234 as it says to call that number for updated info or a large print/braile version or visit https://www.parentsguidetomoney.fsa.gov.uk0 -
Well I've got my list all drawn up and made a seperate one for what I actually need to buy!
I'm getting so excited, I could potentially only have 7 weeks to go if DS is anything to go by!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Ta! I'll ask my midwife next time I see her. That's 8th April so they might have new ones for the new tax year with up-to-date calculators by then
Oh yeah, Jo, I meant to agree on the vouchers front too! Don't quite know what to suggest though - ones for your fav shopping centre (but then don't know if you'll want to/be able to get out to go there) or ones for your fav shops to potentially use online (but then you might not still want clothes from there).. Mind you, I guess you'll know after your first two! What about a pampering treat? Vouchers for a manicure or massage.. something like that.

Can I pinch your list AM? All the ones I've found seem to have too much 'stuff' on them! I'm thinking about perhaps, possibly, maybe buying something tomorrow!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

I am cheering myself up by having a huge mozzarella and pesto pizza for tea
I have huge cravings for cheese and milk, hubby said it'd be cheaper to just buy a cow and stick it in the back garden LOL0 -

I havent got a genral baby item list, thought I'd wait till i go through the 'baby cupboard' then go through lists and see what I need, as i've been buying in drips and drabs.
EDIT: I'll go and look at some lists and smend them to what i reckon you need:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Hospital bag is even more scary  I'm still hoping I'll just wake up one morning and the baby will be next to me!
I realised earlier, that 10 weeks means there is only 10 weekends. That isn't many, they go by so quick.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
