Tara - I know it might be a bit too early for you to have thought about but do you know what your other sproglets will be doing while u give birth?
Like if it is a Saturday morning when you start will they just go about the house as usual? do you want them involved?
If I'm prying just ignore me - I'm very nosey!0 -

And I have to go to argos and get a ready bed, and then after the MOT colect and drop off the kids and I have nothing to wear tonight and I hate everything and everybody and it all stinks!!! I'm not playing anymore I'm in a huff!!!! *stamps feet and throws a proper toddler tantrum!* waaaaaa haaaaaa haaaaa waaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!0

Tara, what fantastic midwives you have! Mine can't even be bothered with you when you're sitting in front of them, let alone ring you up to see how you are!
I've just eaten the other half of a bar of cadbury caramel I was saving for hubby... A 230g bar... Oops... In my defence... I haven't had anything else... I'm not used to this not fancying any food state of mind... It's just not me...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I will do exactly what I did the last 2 times. Even if it's school they can choose to stay home. They will have someone with them, probably my friend but they will be downstairs or in the garden. I make up a goody box that they are allowed to open once I'm in labour, colouring books, juice, choccies etc (so trip to poundland needed). The baby is as much a part of them as me and each time they have had a cuddle within minutes of baby being born so they feel really involved. It's a really lovely family event.:DToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
Tia - when were you planning on using the chicken? could you freeze it and defrost it later or cook it in advance?

The chicken was for sunday but I will use it tommorrow, it's the principle of the thing... no matter what I am staying in my mood and thats that, humph!
I need the ready bed for today, got 1 ages ago from house and home or something (it's closed down now) but as both boys are away to different houses and tehy have both asked for the bed I better get another one. Been meaning to get another for ages, it's not the point. I'm just in a mood! :rotfl: wonder if my tesco has any in stock.. will check online, easier than going into town and having to park and walk for ages....
OK< got their stuff together, better go and get this car sorted, and they will be told 'you got an hour and a half!' there is a cafe nearby but I grew up in that village and hate it.... :mad:0 -

I'm currently eyeing up a kitkat chunky on the kitchen side, need to put the kettle on to go with it.
MW's here seem really good but people here generally are. I know on any given day there are several people I can ring for help.
Tia, crap day, too much to do no time! XToo many children, too little time!!!0 -

aw that is lovely! I went mad at a nurse when DS2 was born. He was in SCBU and I got DS1 to sit on a chair and hold him. This nurse went off on one and I lost my temper. I had been in there for almost 2 weeks, had nearly died, my son (DS1) was at that time calling home 'Daddies home' and the hospital 'Mummies home', he was missing me like mad and being a little swine when he did see me as he thought I didn't love him anymore! I had to let him see that the baby was a part of him too.0 -

Staff seem to forget the importance of your other children. I still remember years ago when I was told I would be spending the last 3 months of pregnancy in hospital I got upset about DD being left with my mum for so long. The doctor gave me a right ticking off about the baby being more important. It wasn't that it was just as a mum one child is not more important than the other, I didn't want her thinking it deserved more attention than she did.Too many children, too little time!!!0
