pumpkin, what do you usually grow? I am not sure if my attempts at growing will be any good, but i at least want to try itI would like to get the boys involved too, bt my 15 year old has no interest. My 10 yr old will help i think.
Peas and beans are really easy (you can plant both now) and are fun to watch grow.
Salad leaves and radishes are super fast, as are herbs. I'd perhaps give your DS a container himself that he can nurture and be proud of. Some plants really like each other (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/basics/techniques/organic_companionplanting1.shtml ), so you could plant, say, Nasturtiums (which are edible flowers) and kale together, or marigolds and tomatoes in a big pot.0 -
Would anyone mind if I resurrected this thread? I think it is full of really useful info and tasty recipes.
After enjoying Christmas with my son, who has transitioned from vegetarian to vegan, I have decided to give it a go as well.

Vegans can only do their best. It's about not intentionally causing harm or suffering to animals. We're not Jains.0 -
