No need to renew a subscription as Ancestry is free from most libraries, just email the search results to yourself. No help for getting your existing info off it though I'm afraid. You'd need to export before the subscription runs out or if it already has, wait until they are running one of their 14 day free trial sessions.

I have so much information on my Ancestry.co.uk tree - attached photos, stories and census results. Is there a way of putting these onto your FTM and them not dissapearing when you open your new GEDCOM from Ancestry.co.uk.

I hate the fact that I have put many, many hours of work into my Ancestry.co.uk tree but that if I can't afford to renew my subs at any time, I ahve lost all the additional stuff.

I'm not aware of any easy way of doing it. I tend to use one basic file for all my family tree stuff onmy PC and just download it from there to Ancestry.com
