  • In the UK it is genealogy, not geneology, afaik. :)

Thank you for this. Has saved me a fortune - was going to buy the new family tree software to get 6 months free like I did last time.

Thanks, that's a very good deal, unfortunately 1911 England census not available (yet?) on ancestry.co.uk or ancestry.com.au.
  • Thank you. I rejoined in December for one month to update all my 'hits' and then cancelled again. This is a great bargain...

Excellent find! I was a trial member of Ancestry a while back - I'd say it's the best of all the genealogy sites, but very expensive if bought the UK way.

    Thanks!

My subscription is due to expire in 2 weeks, at these prices it would be worth me taking this out.

Do you know if either package includes the pre 1837 parish records please? And do they have exactly the same access as the UK options?

    Thanks

I wonder if it will really work if you live in UK? Your CC would show you have a UK address wouldnt it?. I didn't renew my ancestry sub and have really missed it, I have been hoping they would offer me a reduced sub to rejoin! I would love to take up this offer but am a bit wary in case they actually take full UK amount off my CC
We might be better off all complaining and asking why they get it so much cheaper! LOL

Just noticed, it says This is an exclusive offer for readers of New Idea Magazine
