My vouchers finally turned up last Saturday. Today I took the extra points coupons to my local shop, and only after I'd got to the checkout did I realise they were all for online shopping. I don't do online shopping, I need the extra exercise of walking round the stores, and carting bags of shopping around! I have my preferences set for instore vouchers, and I've rung before and asked them to ensure I only have instore, and I was told that I wouldn't get online extra point vouchers any more. Do you think I can ring again, and ask them to reissue them for instore, or is it a lost cause?

Typical them blooming clubcard vouchers turned up today in post so have rang clubcard straight away to try and cancel the cancellation the person said it hasn't be processed so will be fine and the person yesterday couldn't action a reissue till Mon so lets hope this is now sorted

Yes, Monday is the first day when Clubcard are able to cancel vouchers and organise reissues. Suggest, you use a small one before the reissue process starts - so person doing it can see it has been used with your clubcard no, so know you have them, and therefore not proceed with canceling the vouchers you've just had.

Yes, that will show up as voucher used, and display card used with, when (date & time), and where (store or on-line)

Strange, that you're still getting them! You can 'opt out' yourself online. Which is all they can arrange to do for you for the next mailing i.e. no reissues of promotional vouchers.

    Hi,

Have been stuffing my clubcard vouchers in the back of draw for far too long and have now got the motivation to try using some to book a crossing in the EuroTunnel.

The problem is that whilst I have £74 in valid vouchers, I have a further £212 in expired vouchers with expiry dates going back as far as May 2002! What are my chances of getting these reactivated and what steps should I take?

    Thanks for any advice!

1st step - Ring them as soon as possible. You may be able to get some reactivated, but they are getting tougher on them.
2nd step - make a note to open the drawer more often ;)

If you save your vouchers, first know where they are, and second put the oldest ones on top.
In answer to the last question - none! Even if you had one that was Nov 09 (and remember that is the 'valid until date' not when you first had them), it would still be too late. And it is not that they are being more strict, it's that system info doesn't go back that far - no need.
On the other hand, it may be that in times past, you have rung and got them cancelled before - 'I've lost my vouchers'.

I was told that the SA has to scan a clubcard in order to accept vouchers. I was told this by cc cs when I was waiting on an extremely large mailing. I needed reassurance that my vouchers had not been used. I have not used my cc vouchers in store for at least ten years and only shop in one store 99% of the time. Fortunately, my vouchers arrived last week.
