You select the offer on the clubcard site and then order your hotel vouchers online/by telephone. IIRC once your voucher arrives you ring the hotels booking line and arrange your stay. The Daily Mail

Thanks for that, much clearer now. By the way what does IIRC stand for....

hi im a newbie on here. I wonder if anyone can answer my question. Can i and the members of my household pool are clubcard points to get airmiles? how does this work? At the moment im converting my vochers every time they are sent out into airmiles. would other members of my household be able to do this and add airmiles on to my account? im confused Thanks0

Hi -- not too sassy with using Tesco points, but I saw another member on the forum that had a signature that read:
Every Little Helps me fly the world with Tesco!
2010 BA Miles count: 165,000 170,000 180,000 200,000 210,000
Now my question is: Is it feasible through "normal" shopping to rack up 45,000 BA Miles in six months? Obviously this poster could be doing a fair bit of travelling as well, so perhaps the Tesco points only contribute a small amount. Otherwise, this would equate to 18,750 points, which seems like a lot for six months...
I just want to know if I am missing something...0 -

As long as you all live at the same address you can consolidate either all tesco clubcards into one Tesco account, or several Airmiles accounts into one Airmile account. But that is only if you have the same address I think.
Otherwise just ask for extra key fobs to be sent out for your account and give them to other family members to use for their shopping.0 -

Not "normal" shopping no...
But people use all sorts of different special offers (ie buy this CD and get 500 points), sometimes in multiples (but Tesco is now getting a bit smarter about that and imposes limits) and also use Tesco credit card etc.
My friend's OH is self employed and buys all his stuff on Tesco credit card just to gain points... And they do collect loads.
However, to your maths... that works out at £1875 Tesco vouchers... which means 100x the amount of points (don't forget you need 100 points to collect £1 of voucher which turns you 24 airmiles)0 -

As I said, I'm new to all this, but I thought that £2.50 vouchers got you 600 BA miles? That would mean 240 BA miles for each £1 voucher or 100 Clubcard points.
Oh yes, it does. Sorry. On the first page it doesn't differentiate them http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=236 but in the next step it does and they are different.
I personally collect the yellow ones.
Edit: I still don't think you can collect 18750 points just on normal shopping though;-)0
