Can Tesco clubcard points be redeemed against Ski/Snowboard holidays? Has anybody done this.

Tesco have ripped me off today.

Had the November statement delivered. It only contained my xmas savers money, but none of my clubcard points.

Looked on the website and they are not there.

I had 300 points (exactly) in my clubcard account before the latest cut-off point for vouchers.

I have just checked my account and it says they have issued £2.50 vouchers and left 50 points in my account.

Is this normal? Do they only issue vouchers in blocks of £2.50?

I thought I would get £3.00 in vouchers.

I just got 300 points for getting an insurance quote off Tesco! How lads!
I'm already on £4.50 for this current 'statement season' (oct-jan).

I got £12.50 worth of vouchers coming in my November statement...my highest vouchers worth yet!

Yesterday the customer in front of me didn't have a Clubcard, so I asked if I could have her points. She said that was okay. The cashier swiped my card, but mine is Clubcard Plus and instead of just adding the points the cashier accidentally confirmed payment. So I 'kindly' paid for her shopping (although I think she also used her own credit card). I telephoned their central office and I see by today they have credited the money back to me.

Nice to have a good news for a change!

I know Virgin Holidays do ski & snowboard hols and you can use rewards for them.

Probably means that the 300 pts are made up of two types e.g. tpf & CC - maybe you have a credit card linked to your CC or have insurance points? So the points could be 37 tpf & 263 CC = clubcard vchr £2.50.

I doubled up in store last august but the points over have not been credited back to my account. I have rung them and they can see it is not right and have said they will be put on the next mailing. Anyone else had this happen, and anyone any idea of how long it would take to show up on the account? I don't want to have to wait until the next mailing to make sure they are on there.

I am sure you couldn't sell them because they have your name printed on them and your Clubcard number.

Are you sure there is nothing you want from the Rewards/Deals scheme (don't just look at the Double Up scheme), a meal in a restaurant, a day out ??? As a last resort you can use the vouchers to pay for your shopping, but that doesn't represent such good value.
