When did you see that !?
'MyClubcardAccount' started last November, as I recall some people who got on it were able to use old vouchers for the 'four times' rate for rewards. But the earliest vouchers then that would be seen would, as I recall, be valid until August 2010 i.e. ones that were sent out in August 2008.
If you still have vouchers that are still in date, then you can use them, if they are out of date - you can't but Aug (& currently) May can be rolled over, if you haven't got the voucher - but it's in myclubcardaccount then you can print it off and use it.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
If the expiry date is 31/08/2011 then they were sent to you in August 2009. Whereas if it was the last statement, they would say 31/08/2013
However, if it is 2011, and they have therefore gone out of date, ring clubcard and they can roll-them-over (convert them back to points) - and they'll come out to you again in the next mailing.
But, if you find any others that are dated Feb 2011 or even 2010 - forget they are dead!
Thanks,
I gave them a call and they have said they will re issue them and they will show on my Nov Statement, I thought they had stopped doing this with out of date vouchers so just glad I didnt lose themThanx

Hmm, mum said I can get her clubcard vouchers to triple them for goldsmiths, is it okay to use hers with mine? Or is it just my account only with my vouchers?0

Only your vouchers are valid with your clubcard account. But you may get away with it, if the other account has the same surname and address.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I've had a little look at this thread..not a lot admittedly as Tesco clubcard seems to have changed drastically since I last had one!
I'm hoping someone might be able to help who knows how it all works..
Back in the 'old days' when I did have a Tesco Clubcard they used to post out vouchers for money off this that and the other.
I found out several years ago that I am Coeliac and I found that the vouchers I would be sent were pretty much for cakes, bakery, biscuits - all of which were now useless to me.
I have asked in store a few times to find out whether you can 'tailor' the vouchers to things that you can eat but so far I've had blank looks to my query.
I live alone so won't pile up huge amounts of points as I don't spend much for my shopping but I'm wondering if anyone has successfully engineered vouchers to suit their dietary needs?
If it is possible then I'll apply for a new card - but admittedly getting money off vouchers and then not being able to use them got to be a bit disappointing after a while - bit of an anti-climax as the vouchers seemed to try and encourage me to buy things which I didn't buy - but also all the things that would make me very ill.
There was a marked contrast in what vouchers I received prior to my diagnosis and since - because my shopping habits had to change.
If you buy gf stuff then you will get vouchers for the odd gf product from time to time. Even if you don't get many points, the 4x the value in rewards for restaurants is well worth using and they soon add up for that - treat yourself to a nice juicy gf steak or something! I'm Coelaic and I love my CC points. HTH.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

I'd add to that that if you don't buy something, they don't seem to send you offers for the product- or not anywhere near as many. I don't buy bread or cakes (different reasons to you) and I don't think I've had a promo voucher for a very very long time, I also don't buy dairy, stopped the middle of last year when it turned out it affected me badly (very sad as I miss dairy alot!) I can't remember when I last had dairy vouchers, think I may have had a weightwatchers yogurt or something like that but it was only the odd one, its like they seem to get the message quite a bit faster then they used to, definetly think they've improved over the past few years, still a way to go but they are better.
I still get a few vouchers I'd never use, products I don't like the sound of but they are free and at the end of the day I don't feel like I'm losing out.0 -
Hi,
I know this has probably been asked loads of times before, but I cant seem to be able to find a definitive answer.
Can I use my mums clubcard vouchers which I can print online to do some shopping instore? We have the same surname if that helps?
Thanks x0 -
I don't really understand the rewards part of having a Tesco clubcard.
I have been collecting points over the past couple of months and today received a voucher for £2. I would like to buy train tickets from redspottedhanky because I understand that my points are worth three times as much. It says that for every £10 of points you get £30 to spend on train tickets. On their page on the Tesco website it says 'how many vouchers do you want to exchange?' with £5 seeming to be the minimum.
So, a couple of questions:-
1. Should I just ignore the voucher Tesco have sent me, leave the points in my account and keep on building them up?
2. Do I need to save £5 or £10 before I can use them with redspottedhanky?
3. Do I need to do anything else?
Thanks for your help!0 -
Most Deals now offer 4 x the value of your voucher. Unfortunately yours seems to be one of the exceptions.
Yes, you will need a minimum of £5 of vouchers to get £15 worth of train travel. So hang on to them, they are valid for a long time and when you have £5 exchange - unless your journey is urgent. If you go to the Clubcard website you will see there are all sorts of Deals. However, I don't think there is any less than £5 minimum.
Alternatively you can take the £2 you have got into the store and get (only) £2 off your next shop.Thank you for reading this message.0
