Number of times your credit report has been searched in the past 3 months............7

Going to wait this out so this shows 0... then wait 3 more months, so that I wouldn't have had any searches in 6 months. :D

    I will.

Why are you going to closing your HSBC account?

Have you received your debit card yet?

HSBC keep taking £3 out of my account for text message banking and everytime I ask it to be canceled and fee refunded, they agree, but next month it's the same.

Remember a few weeks ago I sent an email to Equifax regarding duplicate searches on my credit file, well they've put a Notice Of Correction on my file which reads the following...

NOTICE OF DISPUTE - THE INDIVIDUAL CONCERNED HAS DISPUTED THE ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION REGISTERED AT THIS ADDRESS AND WE HAVE NOW CONTACTED THE SUBSCRIBER CONCERNED. CARE SHOULD THEREFORE BE TAKEN WHEN USING THE DATA AT THIS ADDRESS TO ASSESS THE CREDITWORTHINESS OF THE INDIVIDUAL CONCERNED.

Not sure whether this is saying 'Watch out, it might not be him applying for the credit, and do not give any credit while at this address, or whether it's saying don't take the multiple searches into consideration when I have asked for credit....

    Congratulations.

    Have you tried Aqua?

Yeah, got declined straight away by them. Suprised a bit as have a Visa Debit card with Halifax I've had for ages with an overdraft. Guess they don't communicate between them. Not to worry.

Just looked at the status of my Equifax dispute. The following is the reply...

''Response 21/04/2009 01.25 PM Please advise Consumer we will remove the two searches actioned on 23rd January, 2009.''

Response 22/04/2009 01.36 PM I have requested x3 searches to be deleted from all 3 credit agencies.
and 3rd comapany in question has two weeks to respond, otherwise the searches will automatically be removed.

All searches still appear, but I guess they're in the process of removing them.

We had this discussion earlier this week. I think it is better to have no NOC
