Sub Prime Credit Thread Part II

Received a letter from Capital One this morning saying i've been approved for their Classic card - :j. I also got one from Aqua saying I have been declined lol, not that I'm bothered now anyway.

Weird thing is I was declined only just last month for a Capital One Classic card, aswell as for a O2 sim-only contract, though I was accepted for latter this week also - hmmmm, strange......

I applied for a John Lewis credit card yesterday and got rejected (:
They checked Equifax only

I WANT ANOTHER CREDIT CARD!!!!!!!

The thing is I have spotless credit aside from the fact I have 17 searches on Equifax in the past 6 months and around 13 on Experian. Will anyone give me a credit card with all these searches on there?

VERY UNLIKELY!!!

Cool it for a while allthingsconsidered2009, right now you are appearing to lenders as desperate.

Let it get to the stage where you are clear of searches for 6 months then try again.

How are we all today?? Has everyone enjoyed the snowy weather??

I have just had an email stating one of my CCJ's has been deleted off my file..which is good news :j

However when looking through I noticed that on another CCJ all the details are the same as mine bar the date of birth, the day and month are the same as mine however the year is incorrect..what should I do?? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I had a default on my file a few years ago - my name , but everything else eas wrong . I emailed Equifax - they raised a query and it went!
