Yes I bank with HSBC. They gave me their card and even gave me a lovely £1000 limit increase after only having the card 10 weeks or so. I do not think I have tried ALL the sub-prime; just Barclays Initial and, I think, Capital One.

Can i ask how long you had your account before you applied for the CC?
Do you have any nasties on your file?
And what type of Bank account do you have with them? Plus? Standard?

I got rejected by flybe card I know why though as I missed payment in one of my cc last month!!

I doubt it makes a difference where you open it. Are you thinking of banking with them?

Yes I am. It makes a difference to me as my Mum is disabled so It would be easier to apply on-line.

So you're opening the account for your mum?

IIRC even if you open the account online or on the phone, you will still have to go into the branch to reveal your ID in person.

No It would be for me. I have to look after my Mum and I can't leave her on her own so making an application on-line would be much more convenient.
