i know you people have less than perfect credit files but do you have defaults? I have ten!!!! shocking i know but had terrible trouble with loss of earnings last year and need to try to get back on track. Not sure where to start. Did get credit last year from Carphone Warehouse for a laptop £15 per month and got a Lloyds Tsb basic account dont know what to try next. Any ideas anyone?Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £6000

Yes they can.
give them a go if they say "no" leave it 6 months and don't apply for anything else in those 6 months and try again.0 -

Hopeless Case: Well don't loss faith in building your credit up. I had at least 10 because I had to give up work to look after my Mum.
I have paid most of mine back and alot have dropped off now. I have about 2-3 still on there but 1 more drops off in March this year and I'm paying 3 final installments on another and then thats done with.
How come you have so many? If you don't mind me asking.
Because they are dated last year most if not all lenders will see them and say no straight away. I had this problem I couldn't get credit full stop because of all my Defaults.
There is nothing really I can recommend until they are older really.0 -

Yes you can have two or more accounts if they let you.
I have two accounts one with Empire Stores and the other with Littlewoods. HTH0
