No it used to be that way but I think it's after your statement day.

It used to be the 1st of each month. I believe it's now changed.

Not good news about helicopter crashing, am not looking forward going to work next week now

Right guys i have £2150 remaining on a welcome finance loan. what kind of offer you think they will accept to settle early as i know there struggling at moment

I read on another post (will try and find it later for you) that someone had 2 grand outstanding and made offer of 1500 that was accepted. Guess that helps with a starting point..... maybe consider that amount or slightly less if they 'may' accept all offers like that?

The OP did mention if I remember correctly that it was up to the local 'branch' what offers they accept etc due to their own targets! Ironic as it may seem but if your local branch has a lot of debtors then they may write off more for you.

LOL it was funny though - i'm applying for so many accounts because of the following;

1. The CRA's incorrectly linked me with someone, therefore each time a search is carried out against my name and I get rejected credit due to the incorrect information this is grounds for libel.

2. There are several of us on CAG doing this and at the end we will look to sue the CRA's for libel in a class action

3. Each libel offence carries a maximum punishable fine of 5 grand

Upon reading the above, I hope the cynics can now rest in the knowledge that getting declined for accounts is part of what i'm trying to achieve. However it only counts as libel if the rejection letter states that they cannot give an account due to 'adverse information obtained from the credit agency' or words to that effect - some do, some don't thus we apply for some and then apply for others dependant upon what rejection letter arrives.

If I get offered accounts then i'd simply close them. I do not recommend what I am doing to others and have never maintained that approach either.

They may exhibit thinly hidden, unrealistic grandiose fantasies, are often attuned to issues of power and rank, and tend to develop negative stereotypes of others, particularly those from population groups distinct from their own. More severely affected individuals with this disorder may be perceived by others as fanatics and form tightly knit cults or groups with others who share their paranoid beliefs.
