Yea, I done a BT from Citi to Vanquis and it never went through, about a month later I got a letter from citi with a cheque made out to vanquis explaining they couldn't do it electronically - thanks for letting me know earlier like citi lol.

However, I had already set up the Vanquis DD so minimum went out then I sent the cheque and that put me 20 quid in credit, no problems. Cheque did take 9 days to clear on my account though - 9 days! almost as bad as Hbos Easycash when you deposit a cheque with them!
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o

Thanks all for the advice! Will defo pay the minimum and do the transfer when the PO card arrives.

The Analyst...no nasties now. I am 3 years out of an IVA. Intially got Vanquis and Aqua to build up my credit file. Tried to get bank CC (CO-OP) but got rejected. Then applied for Flybe and got accepted with 5K limit.
When I applied for PO card it got refrered to their underwriters. They called me and when over a few thins...time in job, time in work, salary and questioned the fact that I had applied for 3 caards within the last six months and why I was appying for another...I explained it was to do a balance transfer. I was accepted for the Classic card with the 2.4K limit...which seems to be quite a low limit compared to people that are accepted straight away.

    Good luck with your application.

On Experian I have 22 searches in the last 12 months.

On Equifax I have 23, but quite a few for "outstanding debt" all to the one company I have paid off. Why they have done so many only God knows.

I've filled in an on-line dispute to get the companies in question to remove them because I have paid them off.
