Evening all can you believe after three weeks MBNA finally gave a decision ?

Thank you for your recent application. I regret to inform you that after careful consideration, we are unable to grant you a
    credit facility at this time.
Each application receives personal attention from a Credit Analyst who takes into consideration all of the available
    information.
I am sorry that we cannot be of service on this occasion.
    Yours sincerely
    Suzanne Johnson

Now correct me if I'm wrong but dont they have to say why? i.e credit score credit profile etc?

    Regards

I don't think they have to give you a particular reason in a letter, most of it's bloody rubbish anyway. "After reviewing your application unfortunately blah blah blah" LOL

You could give MBNA a ring and ask to speak to an underwriter, they will tell you why.

    Hey sutton,

All done will let you know when I get my responces...

Good!! Yes I would like to know the responses, it would be very interesting to find out what particular data they hold on someone, far to much probably.

I did read through the mountain of posts this morning between yourself and never-in-doubt. Enlightening!!
