    you know I cannot discuss that openly mate, i'll PM tomorrow night with a snapshot. Sorry but I do have to respect the rules or they will remove me and they do know who I am cos i've paid towards UK26's fund for legal help so wouldn't risk ruining his case.

    After all it will help everyone when he wins.....

    Hi mate - long time no see? You ok? I'm still sat in a car watching a house! haha - Not stalking! sorry couldnt resist!

    Read this post for details of why they hide data! #2785

    I have been following the threads all morning on and off - before I go out...

    Anyway , I have long suspected something wasnt right with these companies , and while I have no bad or negative (to my knowledge) data ,I often wonder;

    Experian - own hunter , ok then. They ask us to subscribe and then have extra detail to use. They feed 'most' of the credit providers with 'predictive' scores on us on a monthly basis - so in theory they are credit scoring us?.

    Yup, you got it and don't forget about Experian DA as well...... just to add salt to the wounds rumour has it they have their fingers in cifas as well but i'd hate to openly quote such a remark!

    These guys think they are the mafia, shame that the comsumers are harder than the mafia (volume by numbers)....

    I'm going to post a whole new thread about these guys anyway so keep a look out...... it'll have what they do and what they store along with examples of each and the laws to get them off, with template letters - the works!

    Nope - its huge mate!! :eek:

    I hope so, the more work means they have to get more staff which means they lose their precious profits and then before long, after certain cases they will go out of business. Think about it, lets say 10,000 people SAR all 7 companies right, you have to admit that at least one piece of data will be wrong/out of date for each person so in essense that would be over 10,000 individual cases of libel that each company could have against them. The standard amaount payable in such a claim is 5k (do the maths)..... it doesn't seem a lot but trust me when everyone starts to realise they do exist and they do store everything about us then it's only a matter of time before the ICO/DPA say enough and shut them down for breaching the laws.

    It is a blatant case of disrespecting our ID and they should be brought to book.

    yea cos it is offset against costs........ in essence if they have a spare 100k at the end of the year it goes into the shareholders pockets as bonus! Course they make profit, a tenner we gotta pay them just to get info that legally they cannot store in the first place - if we want to get technical but don't start me lol, i'll explain when I create a new thread yea?
