 Well its mainly thanks to you I tried again! They have offered 39.9% apr - which is steep compared to other cards - but because I intend to settle balance in full I should, in theory, be ok.

I am not easily tempeted to splash the cash, in fact I have grown to be quite a tightwad of late so this shouldnt be a problem!

Thanks, Did they start you on a £250 limit?

Yeah, I have been told it goes up in stages depending on account performance.

£250 is great to start with, and is probably more than I wanted/need

Yes just tell them you have TV link as well, they will need to turn the RF output on. I hope it's a Sky engineer as some sub contractors are crap.

Not too sure about the magic eye. I have just been given one myself after my dad changing back to Virgin from Sky, and I have a sky plus box downstairs.

When I upgraded I put my old box in my room so I guess I can use the eye through that. Ask them about the + box though as it would be interesting to know incase I decided to quit my multi-room package.

You will need to link the two boxes using coax cable before the TV link will work.

Posted this a few days ago but this thread moves quickly and I didn't get any replies, just wondering is anyone had any thoughts?

Have had the flybe card for 2 1/2 months now on standard apr of 24.9% (though till in 6 months 0% on bt at the mo) and limit of £3000. I was just wondering how other people are getting on with theirs? Specifically has anyone had a credit limit increase? When i made the call activating the card the bloke suggested that after 3 months they will consider a 30% credit limit increase does anyone know anything about that?

    Thanks

It does work with sky plus. That is what my dad had :)

I wanted to use the eye for my daughters room. I'll sort the cable out when I can be bothered, it isn't urgent. Thanks Sutton :)
