    Hi all
Posted this a few days ago but this thread moves quickly and I didn't get any replies, just wondering is anyone had any thoughts?

I haven't had a limit increase on my Flybe yet, this is my last month of my BT rate.

I was sent BT offers from All Saints and My World though (same company) and chose the All Saints one for the 7.9% LOB. I asked them on the phone if they would increase my limit, and the man did so without hesitation to 30% more.

If you want an increase maybe it is best to ask them. I have checked and they didn't re search my credit file.
  • well my 6 months are up in April for the Flybe 0% so see what happens . I never got the offers you did , but I do use the All Saints and My World fairly often . My JJB is now clear and I am going to cancel (even though they increased my limit to £400 from £250 recently).
  • Sorry to post this here but this is the most suitable place I could find:

My credit rating is crap; I am sorting it out with Experian etc.

To build a credit history and improve my score, I was thinking of buying from catalogues on their credit, you know the interest free, pay £2 a week for 32 weeks etc type. I can and will pay it off in full so will not accrue interest but wondered which catalogues take on customers with bad credit files?
  • try Littlewoods or Great universal first of all (same company) as when my file was not good they started me off at £300.00 - now its £3200.00 .
  • Thank you...I don't want a lot of credit, just to use it and show responsibility and reliability to help me get a good credit score. Thanks again...any other suggestions also gratefully received.
  • good luck and let us know.

A very small provident or Real Finance loan paid off on time is also a good way of showing reliability, these loans are very expensive and last resort if you cant get anything else, but they put you on the road to good credit.
