Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
  • Thought I'd apply for the Vanquis card just to round off my searches to 20 :o, but received yet another "We'll contact you within X amount of days with our decision". Though I was accepted for Cap1 couple weeks ago, I was declined for Aqua and presume i'll be declined for Vanquis too.

Ah well, i'm happy to atleast have one card :j.

    Why did Aqua decline you?

    Are Capital One subprime then?

I've heard it is near impossible to get declined for Vanquis unless you have seriously messed up credit history.

well you heard wrong could be a simple reason vanquis rejected i got rejected but they dont send letter so cant appeal

I got rejected in December, done online application again in Jan (waited 3 weeks) and it went through, yea only £250 limit but shows them you may be genuine if you reapply.....

Worth a try, will only come back as a yes/no/we'll be in touch! If the latter - well done (usually a yes but sometimes a no!)
