I suspect that some of the MBNA "classic" card users are now seeing their 6 months coming up on their credit cards. I know I just got my 5th statement.

Any limit increases yet guys?

Don't know if this is of any interest to anyone but i got myworld statement today and it says that creation are now doing loans,the apr is 17.4,i know this is quite high.Has anyone else seen this or applied?

Letter from Citi this morning - they're putting my APR up to 31.4 :eek: :mad:

Robbing so and so's!!! If it werent for the fact no-one else will give me a card (not even Vanquis, Aqua or Monument - THANKS VERY MUCH ALLIANCE AND LEICESTER!!!!!!) I would tell them where they could shove their card :mad:

Vanquis phoned me this morning with their 'Welcome' phone call. They sold me some insurance thing for something like 79p per £100 you spend. The guy said I can cancel it when I get my statement if I change my mind, for a full refund.

Should I have got this?

He also offered to transfer £200 into my bank account for the special offer period for no cash fees and no interest if it's paid off in full on the first statement, I asked for £50, as I wasn't going to pay any fees and some bills come out this week. :rotfl: I'll be paying that straight back when that first statement comes in.

Yes, exactly same as me - means you have £250 limit. Well done. :T

No, i'd ring back and cancel the PPI (79p in every 100) its not part of application and not necessary (i.e. a rip off). Keep the 50 quid but pay it all off or you'll be paying interest forever!

How weird, I just got a letter from Citi Gold AaAdvantage Visa with a new PIN. I got a letter in January saying NO. I appealed, they said sorry no again. So I thought i'd apply online again - just to see (last week) - today a pin came saying card be here in 5 days. I guess that means I have account - but no mail telling me limit ot cca etc as yet!

Does this mean (that I have a pin) that i've got this account then?

Also, what are the start limits like, any idea? Cheers Mrs R. :A
