Pleased to see this thread again :j . I have more or less stuck to this with toiletries and cleaning products since last year
but I did find 4 half used anti-bacterial spray the other week  (DH  ).
Not so organised at using the food in our cupboards up, so will be doing that for Feb.0 -
I so need to join in this month - i have a full freezer and loads in the cupboards, so apart from fresh fruit, veg and milk, i shouldnt need to buy anything else. Im still using up stuff from last year, toileteries wise, and have been good and not bought anymore - just hope i can do the same with the food!!!!0

Oooo, count me in :j . I was a good girl through January, and have done serious damage to the mountains of food in the cupboards and freezers - but I haven't touched the toiletries yet... I too have cupboards and drawers stuffed with... well... stuff! Need to use it all up over the next...err...year or so...:rotfl:Save the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0

Count me in. We did a food "use up" month in January, so ok there, but my clothes, makeup, toiletries etc definately need some attention. I got 20 quid of Lush vouchers for christmas but I'm refusing to spend them until I've used up all the stuff I already have.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

I'm playing too
we're having a new kitchen put in downstairs next month (it's currently on the middle floor in a 3 storey house) so the more we use up now, the less I've got to carry dowstairs!

ooh count me in too.. my cupboards and freezer is full. Im sure I will be introducing my family to yummy meals by the end off the month, such as homemade chicken pie surprise ( the surprise is theres no chicken in it) and freezerburn rice delight ( a little bit of everything with a whole lot of imagination).
Well I have enough toiletries to last me to next feb so that shouldn't be an issue..
all I have to say it mmmm Boots... what a shop
 Diets are only cool when your not on one :rolleyes:0 -
count me in too, I sorted out the chest freezer last Friday, and have enough meat to last till summer, no really chicken breasts, fish, sausages, mince and joints of beef bought at a bargain price but kept for special occasions. Nothing special comes along so the children will be having roast beef sandwiches for school, on dried out bread. Can you use freezer burn stuff ?
The cupboard with tins in is full to bursting, why have I bought 12 cans of tomatoes and 8 cans baked beans to name just a few. Also can after can of fruit, so it looks like this will all have to be used up. There is only me and 2 little boys. why? why?
Toiletries are everywhere so That should last me for ages.
If I could just go into the shop and buy only the milk I wouldn't be in this mess, but the milk leads to the cheese, to the multipack of crisps, to the special offer on the fairy liquid and the BOGOF on numerous other items.
It Must Stop NOW !!!!
Like I said I'll give it ago.0 -
good to see this thread back. i have a large plastic crate filled will all kinds of toiletry goodies, that like nelski i feel are too good for everyday use. this will change after all I'M WORTH IT. lmao!
foodwise we are not too bad as i started meal planning in jan and using stuff up.
cleaning wise - i have been bad and keep buying branded stuff when we go to poundland as it seems a bargain. but having discovered stardrops i intend to run the supplies down and then use stardrops for as much as possible. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
Just wanted to say anybody having trouble using up expensive toiletries just send them my way and I'll use them up
:rotfl:
Sorting my life out one day at a time0 -
I've made a start. DS has a friend for tea tonight. and instead of nipping to shops to buy fish-fingers just in case they don't like anything,(I'm assurred by childs mum that he will eat anything) I've put in a pork casserole in slow cooker. Best serve it with chips though just in case
. I've also found 3 frozen mousses which will do for dessert. So tea sorted and no cost :money:
