Well I might have some baked beans with it and possibly some potato wedges (cooked in the oven).:DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi All...
After a busy weekend, I finally got time last night to put together a soup for this week....
Tomato, Red Pepper & Chilli soup - DELICIOUS. Frozen in portions.
Had a portion today with a ham sandwich for dinner. Had the usual porridge for Breakfast.
Tea tonight is Tuna Pasta Salad with (you've guessed it) leftovers making tomorrows dinner.
Got a heap load of work to do tonight so may not get chance, but if I can find a spare 20 mins, I'm gonna make flapjack.

That's ok then! Jamie Oliver's Chilli pasta sauce with bacon, mushrooms and sweetcorn for me yesterday and today. Mmm, stomach's rumbling already!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Was off work on Monday...but yesterday I had museli and added dried fruit for brekkie, a salad sandwich for lunch and a jacket potato with cheese and stir fry veggies for dinner...snacks = wine gums and a banana
This morning I had toast and two bananas and I've just scoffed a jacket and homous with salad and some sesame seeds on the side - very tasty...not sure about dinner though...need to have a think...
Enjoy your packed lunches all0 -
Breakfast this morning - one very stale choc orange cookie with coffee.
Lunch will be either a cheese sandwich on wholemeal or toast. Dinner tonight will be chicken thighs (if they have thawed out) with spuds and veg or Turkey escalope with spuds n veg. I have some fruit to eat as well, need to polish off 4 lemons, 3 oranges and a bag of apples.
The chicken thighs were yellow sticker items from Tesco as were the Turkey Escalopes.
I am like piglet - I never label anything in the freezer so I have to take a guess on what I take out. My freezer has a mixture of stuff in it: Lidl specials (pizza, chicken burgers or chicken cordon bleu or lasagne), meat from my butcher and yellow stickered stuff from Tesco or Sainsburys. It also contains meals that I have cooked myself and then frozen.0 -
Hi folks! :hello:
Not been around for a few days - sorry! Our guests did make it to visit on Saturday and left last night. We stuck to our menu plan - just breaking it slightly yesterday when we went to Ikea to stop off for meatballs (although even that "break" was planned into the menu plan, so does that count as breaking it or not...?! :rotfl:).
Anyway, today I am back at work again, so it was up early for Bixies for breakfast, and I brought in some frozen leftovers for lunch which I zapped in the microwave here at work (boss is out today, so that was easy...). Dinner tonight will be jacket potatoes with homemade coleslaw (need to use up some carrots and sprouts out of the fridge, and I "lurrrrve" :heartsmil coleslaw made with sprouts instead of cabbage...) and cold meats which we had bought in for lunchtime sarnies over the past few days, so all in all a fairly frugal, "use-up" type of day for us.

Oops. Didn't get chance to post yesterday.
Anyway, yesterday I had the opportunity to work from home so no tempting canteen (not that it's that tempting really).
Breakfast yesterday was porridge, expertly made by my wife whilst I was working.
Dinner yesterday was a plated ham salad, expertly made by my wife whilst I was working.
Tea yesterday was re-heated from frozen vegatuble curry, expertly made by my wife whilst I was working.
See the theme here?
Today...
Breakfast was porridge (again)
Dinner is a ham sandwich with Sweet Potato & Chilli Soup - Umm
Tea tonight will probably be something quick, easy and cheap (Beans on Toast with a fried egg on top).

Grandma's homemade cheese and bacon quiche for me today, so that's three days in a row that bacon has factored in my lunch. Oh well, at least its free!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
