Hi All.
Enjoyed Spag Bol for tea last night.
For dinner today is..... yup - left over Spag Bol.
DELICIOUS
Happy days.0 -
Lunch was leftovers from last night's rice dish as planned (which also had acquired a tin of chopped tomatoes into it by the time it made it to the table!
) - delicious!
Dinner this evening was a bit naughty - a sausage plait from the freezer (yellow stickered!) and we bought a portion of chips from the chip shop and shared them... Clearly on a health kick this evening, then!:o But the whole meal for the two of us came in at under £2, and its good to have a blow out occasionally - we'll be back on the well-balanced, veggie-laden diet tomorrow!:rotfl:
On the MSE side, last night's rice dish swelled to humungous proportions so we have enough left for lunch again tomorrow for both of us :T (didn't eat it for dinner this evening as couldn't face it for three meals in a row...).
Am going to need to go shopping tomorrow evening, but intend to do a quick freezer/cupboard inventory beforehand and see what can be incorporated into this week's menu plan (bearing in mind that we should, weather permitting, have guests from Saturday until Tuesday ) in order to keep the bill to a minimum.

Piglet that random meal sounds beautiful, hope you enjoyed it! Boring old cheese sarnies for me today, with a cup-a-soup from my drawer. Same again tomorrow I think.
Yep, same again. Might go for a tomato soup instead of Mushroom though, just for a change!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Lunch will be soup from the canteen - 35p plus a Stoat's Porridge bar from Valvona and Crolla (2 for a pound as opposed to £1.50 most other places!)
That should see me through to dinner.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I can't believe that the Spag Bol I had for tea on Wednesday night, has made Thursdays and Todays lunch.
Just off now to microwave it. DELICIOUS.
Had porridge for breckfast... umm.
Off out for tea tonight to a local curry house, so the'll be no leftovers
But the good news is I'm planning on making sout this weekend so that will be good for lunches next week (I still have some Sweet Potato & Chilli soup left in the freezer - Ummm)0 -
